I can't think of a thing we didn't like. The staff were so attentive, it was clean , and when something didn't work - like wifi the first day, they found another option for us. Everything was really perfect.

The apartment had everything we needed - two bedrooms, a small kitchen, wifi, a clean space, a pool, and meals if you choose.

The bed was a little short for me, but not a big problem.

We had a really pleasant 3 night stay in Watamu at these apartments. The apartments themselves are really big, clean and with all the amenitites you could need.... and the added bonus of aircon, which was a big plus! The location is pretty cool as well as it's kind of in the village area, so you see a bit of local life, but is in a central location to easily get to the multitude of local beaches nearby. On top of this the staff are really smiley and awesome and will do all they can to make sure you have a great stay. Luciano and Grace are really nice as well, and can help with any further questions you might have. We bumped into Luciano in the nearby restaurant for breakfast on the last day and we were amazed when we asked for our bill, that he'd already paid for it.... that's true hospitality for you :) Also... 2 really nice dogs and a lovely pool!

There is nothing that we didn't like. I cannot say enough positive about Gralu apts! Hosts were accomodating, gracious, polite, helpful, and non-intrusive. Anything we needed, we could ask and it was provided!!!!

The breakfasts were excellent: eggs, toast with jam and butter, sausages, tea/coffee, fresh juice. The staff were always accomodating, including preparation an early breakfast the day of our departure, so that we could catch out 8am flight out of Malinda airport.

This is a peaceful, homely, and comfortable place to stay in Watamu. Grace and Luciano are so warm, kind, and helpful. They go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable plus they are almost always available. Cleanliness is top-notch. Am definitely going back there anytime am in Watamu.

We initially chose the accommodation because it was advertised to have a gas stove, allowing us to cook our meals. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the gas stove wasn't functioning, which led us to install our own gas and portable cooker. Although the staff was present during this, they didn't address the issue or offer a solution, which left us feeling disappointed as they promote the place with a kitchen. As animal lovers, we were disheartened to see the condition of some of the dogs on the premises. They appeared undernourished, with visible ribs, which left us with an uncomfortable feeling throughout our stay. In summary, while the place had potential, the lack of a functional gas stove and the experiences we had with both the staff and the animals diminished our overall enjoyment and left us with mixed feelings about our stay.

It's surrounded by local shops within walking distance. The cottage itself was cozy and furnished, providing all the necessary amenities for a pleasant experience. Despite its compact size and dark rooms, the cottage offered a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
