I think you need to make more facilitiee available inside the rooms. Like I didnt get a toothbrush and toothpaste inside the room. No bumwashers either. Bathrooms were just okayish compared to other 5 star hotels. More amenities in the bathroom needed

The views were absolutely crazy. Staff was very helpful.

The gym did not look like as on a picture, seems more old in reality

The staff made me feel like home. I travelled alone but Ann, Diana , Sylvia were so friendly with me, I did not feel lonely at all. I made friends instead. Levis exactly knew where to find all the wild animals.

The food was a bit substandard, stayed at a lot cheaper safari lodges and had food of much higher quality.

Lovely property, great views, nice staff, the bar staff were incredible and cocktails were great! amazing safari drives with lovely vehicles! Vivian (our game driver) had an such an impressive knowledge of the local flora and fauna ! She made our trip into an unforgettable experience with many precious memories

the reception staff could be a bit more lively. They seemed a bit off. Otherwise all round very good!!!!

Loved the Service of the staff. The driver Paul was amazing. The wait staff were brilliant. Jacinta, Jackson, Kelly, Edwin etc were so good to us. Chef Evans Was accommodating and fun. The Game drives were detailed and good. The hot-air balloon ride was a once in a lifetime thing. Cant even describe it. And the elephant that came to our window in the dead of night really made things interesting. Overall 9/10

The staff seemed to be exhausted, they were very passive and not very interactive. The food was a bit repetitive between lunch and dinner.

The hotel had amazing views over the Masai Mara, the location was perfect with a great view over the triangle.

We had booked a double room but there were three single beds in our room - which meant space was rather limited in the room. However, we do appreciate we were given a room close to the dining/main reception area which meant my mother did not have to walk more than necessary to get to places within Mara Serena. The other quibble we had was there were quite a few brown spots on the shower curtain in the bathroom and the sink was also cracked quite badly - which we would not have expected in a lodge of this quality. Wifi in room was not available.

Communal areas were exceptional - and the views were stunning from both our room and communal areas. As my mother is a senior citizen, check-in staff gave us a room that was as close to the dining room as possible - which was much appreciated. All the staff were very friendly and service throughout the property was exceptional. Bernard, who looked after our room, checked on us every evening to ensure everything was as expected. The staff in the dining area took really good care of my mother and we also enjoyed the buffet food selection at Mara Serena - hence compliments to the chef.

Only one thing the park gate keeper told us that the ticket you are buying will cover your game ride which hotel reception confirmed it on arrival but in the morning when I was about to jump into the safari jeep they said no you don't have booking and you have to book with us for an extra cost. That I didn't like it because the night before they were saying something but next morning it was different.

The location of the hotel was great staff was amazing and friendly. Food was awesome. Facilities were great at that remote location.

Rooms are a bit too tight (small), although very well equipped and comfortable.

The views from all the property, including directly from the room balcony, are fantastic. Common places of the site are also very attractive. Buffet meals very good, same as personnel, very well trained to deal with guests. The area is excellent for game viewing, you hear lion and hyena roaring at night. Very good sightings just out of the gate.

Rooms are on the small side and the buffet food is a bit repetitive. You have to pay for water when there could easily be a refill station in the lobby.

The location is perfect - right on a bluff overlooking the Masai Mara Reserve. The rooms were impeccably clean and situated so you feel like you have your own mini cabin. The game drives can be arranged right at the lodge. The air strip is 5 minutes away.

The swimming pool has too much tree shade to receive sunlight

The dining was awesome. The room was nice but the internal colours too busy. The balcony doors couldn't open fully cause the sliding tracks are blocked by sand. The spa was nice but resting beds too squized. All wildlife except rhinos were within short distance from the property

    a. In the main restaurant, staff take away plates from each person in the group too quick;ly.... b. The pathways, though beautiful and cultural, are hard for the elderly to walk on.

Delicious luxury in serene inspiring wild seeing and hearing hippos... one may easily write a book!

The food was below average, which was a big disappointment cause everything else was perfect. I wasn't able to eat alot, the pasta was over-cooked, the fish was dry, the meat was very chewy and low quality. It was surprising to me since that hotel is pretty expensive and in return you should find good food quality

I loved the friendliness of all the staff at the hotel. The view of the room was gorgeous overlooking the whole of Masai Mara and might be one of the best views I've seen in my life
