Shower heads in the room could be better in terms of volume of water being released.

I did not like the fact that my room didn't have a full mirror, only bathroom mirror.

I loved the reception, the staff, the environment, the cleanliness (the pool was amazing), the location which is close to many places to visit like city mall, wild waters, mamba village etc, and the breakfast was my favourite part. Well it was the favourite for the whole family.

Bathroom was very dated. Proximity to the pool made it very loud in the morning.

The room was very spacious. Ice cold Aircon. Enjoyed the TV and seating area. Great location near the mall - walking distance.

The renovations at the pool bar during the peak season wasn’t a good idea.

Situated in the heart of Nyali with easy access to everything. Great service and food.

There was construction happening, so that wasn't great. Also, the TV station options could be better so carry entertainment. No activities to do at the hotel except the swimming pool.

Great breakfast spread, the cakes and pastries were good. The reception staff are pleasant and always ready to resolve any issues that come up. Location is near the malls, great area. The fish finger on menu is great.

Our initial room was a bit stuffy perhaps arising from fumigation. It could be a Coastal thing, I don't know. Nevertheless we were upgraded to another room that was much better. At the end of the day, we were happy.

The bathroom was a bit mouldy in the ceiling and the shower box a bit rusty. The restaurant area was flooded during the rain and took a lot of time to drain the water out, sad to see the staff doing it over and over, not fair to them. The owner must do something to sort it.

They could have a better entertainment area. The tv in the room could also do with an addition of NETFLIX.

The food was great. The staff were very friendly, I remember Pamela. I received personalized service. They would call me to confirm whether I had taken my meals. The swimming pool was nice and warm.

The flooded water by the entrance of the hotel though not a fault of the hotel but the local drainage system. The hotel made efforts to pump it out though!

Two major things: 1/ it was raining (heavy rains) and the reception was almost under water. Result, there was a generator pomp to remove water. The noise of the generator couldn't help to rest. This is not their fault, it's something I do understand. But since this might be recurrent, better to tackle this point in preparation of the future rains 2/ no fridge in the room. Mombasa is known for HOT temperature and one night I have bring my bottle of water out, to put them in the fridge near of the pool. Meaning I had to go out of my room in the middle of the night to take back my bottle of cold water. 3/ you will be charged 2000 shillings in case you invite a person in your room. The coast is known for something that we all know. No clue if they assume that any female friend visiting the guest is a worker. I would have been happy to be informed about such charge so that my friend would have remain around the pool and not entering my room.

The staff are probably those who make this place amazing. The location very very near of Nyali City Mall and Nyali Centre is very convenient.
