The location was great, close to some coffee shops, restaurants and the bus terminal. What makes this property A++ is the host Yoo. Yoo gave me great tips about what to do in Sokcho and was very friendly and helpful!

Yoo was an amazing host! He helped me so much to feel at home. He sat down with me to look at a map - I visited many places he recommended and was very happy. He also shared with me many places to eat with delicious local food! I was very worried about my next guesthouse because I was concerned about reaching the owners as a foreigner. Yoo called them for me, translated, and put me in touch with them. The hostel feels like you are in a home! Gamsahamnida!

The hostel is very nice and cosy, it has a great mood, and the owner is very nice and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and there's everything you need. You can also have free coffee and tea in the morning. Very close to bus stations, which is convenient.

If youre looking for a lively hostel this might not be it, altough I only stayed 2 nights so who knows.

The hostel is well located in Sokcho, you can reach the market and harbour just by walking a few minutes. For further destinations theres a bus stop for the regular busses just around the corner and even the bus terminal for intercity busses is just a short walk away. During my stay the hostel was very quiet, which was perfect as I came here for relaxation and hiking. I had a single room with my own bathroom, which seemed extremely luxurious after staying in dorms for a while. The room was big and tidy, same goes for the bathroom.

The place is wonderfully designed with a TinTin theme, Yoo was an exceptional host and explained to us in detail about all the interesting things to do in the area. The room was clean, warm, and cozy with floor heating. Lovely stay overall, we even stayed a night more than planned.

Didn‘t like the mini towels, not sure how you are supposed to shower with that? Not really soundproof, heard everything from the neighboring room.

The owner, Yoo, is super nice. Very helpful with information about the town etc. Cozy shared area with free coffee&tea where you can enjoy takeout or just a drink. Walking distance to the inner part of town and very close to IC terminal and bus station to National Park. Room is big enough and the gamechanger: heating blanket!!

Mastress was not the most comfortable I had

The owner was very friendly and took the time to explain to me a lot of stuff about the city. We directly feel like at home in this nice little cosy place. The location is very central, so easy to go from there to the fish market by foot or to seoraksan national park by bus.

Matrass could be a bit softer, and it would be a 10+

The shower is better than the photo's show! And room has floor heating! The owner is super helpful and already has a whole plan for your stay in Sokcho. Price/quality is excellent

The double bed was quite small for two adults. Although everything was really clean, we had some small flies in the bathroom. Not that bad at all and our friend in another room did not have them, so weird coincidence I suppose.

The host was super nice and had really great local tips. The house was Cosy, Nice extra touches. Location was great! Really big parking lot!

The host is very kind, the place cozy with some nice common areas and decorations. In the room, a night stand with a plug to charge the phone and a bedside lamp would be a plus. But nothing to complain, everything was great.

I really liked the atmosphere. The owner was super nice and really gave a warm welcome. He told me all about the sights in Sokcho and gave me some great recommendations. The location is great, and it’s easy to take the bus to Seoraksan National Park as the bus stop is right around the corner.
