Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

KuwaitWeather was too hot they would of offer an ice bucket as a complement. Food was warm not hot. We were 3 friends ,one slipper was in the room. Not enough towel for the 3 of us, we had to call them up to have extra.

Clean , very friendly hepful staff especially Mr. MUBIN, he gifted us with rooms with connecting door without extra charge , food was very good. Viking club was marvellous. Pools work in the evening which a great advantage that I did not find in some other hotels like movenpick( because of the day time hot weather you can not use the pools in the daytime.)

United Arab EmiratesBathroom ran cold after a few minutes. Couldn’t get it fixed with technician too. Kids playground had view obstructed by maintenance work. Breakfast area too.
Great room size, spacious. Bathroom is clean and looks nice food was a bit overpriced for average food (room service) but breakfast was more than worth it. Pool was nice, heated. Volleyball pitch, lounging area and monkey bar.

United KingdomAs a five star hotel it did not feel like it from the start of entering the lobby. On arrival I found the floors dirty on first floor where my room was located, around the elevator area needs sprucing up as appears old and dingy. Bathroom tub drain not working properly - these things are all expected to be in top condition for a 5 star hotel. Coffee in hotel rooms expected as well as bare minimum. I booked a standard room and requested a sea view - apparently none of standard rooms have good views, usually these are most popular rooms however view was sidewalk

Everything was great. Excellent view, friendly staff and great facilities. Many restaurants just walk away. Loved the authentic Korean cuisine The Kimchi. Salmiya is just a 10-minute drive away, and Mall 360 is around a 15-minute drive.

United Arab EmiratesThe reception told me he cannot give me the key and stay in my room until all my friends arrive he said it’s hotel policies i have to wait in the reception waiting for more than 1 hour and then when i asked for the supervisor the supervisor gave me the key immediately which was nonsense and rude I went to my room and another person with employee was in my room looking in it and wondering around when i called the receptionist and asked for the supervisor to complain he said the only thing he can do for all of this rudeness was changing my room he wasn’t even sorry and he doesn’t care that i was upset i told him I’m going to write this in the hotel e mail and also booking.com he said he doesn’t care !! He didn’t even offer a breakfast or a cake he just doesn’t care this was the worst stay The bed was not comfortable at all the sponge was not even and i can feel the spring !!! The view was disappointing it was on the roof of first floor I couldn’t see anything from the sea

KuwaitThe mirror fell on my sister and she injured her hand and it got bruised up badly and the worker had to help wrap her arm and the Kuwaiti manager had the audacity to say that it was our fault because we tried to carry the mirror and lifted it up which resulted in it falling on my sister. When approached they all ignored us and went inside the room and when my husband talked to them they were dismissed and said they have photo proof that it didn't fall because of their fault stating that the screws were still in tact and if it will off the wall it would have plucked the screws along with them. when my husband asks how is it installed on the wall and the screws are there they ignored his messages. The room was occupied by grown adults not kids, why would they say we are lying and we tried to lift the mirror; which was really heavy by the way and have it fall on us? the way they acted was unprofessional and no compensation was given. we did not enjoy the room because we had to take my sister to the hospital in order to get a report and get it professionally wrapped. They ruined the wedding night with their incompetence. I thought us finding expired coffee and sweetener in our previous say was bad, this one is a whole another level.

NetherlandsThe breakfast is a bit pricey, but when you’ll have the chance, take it. It is among one of the best breakfasts I ever had in a hotel. :)
Very spacious rooms, nice bathroom and good bed. The facilities are very, very good. The breakfast is amazing, staff is beyond friendly, good pools (outdoor and indoor) and sauna and steam room of complimentary use. It is a very big complex where all your expectations are met, and got a complimentary ride from and to the airport of Kuwait. Would definitely stay here again!
