Very nice, small, sociable hostel in a convenient part of Astana. The place is clean and comfy, beds have good privacy curtains, staff are present and helpful. No complaints.

The bathrooms could be freshened up and little cleaner

Bed was confortable. Location is good, next to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Also close to bus stations that takes you to the city center. The common area is clean and convenient. The owner was really nice, available and helpful (he even gave me a ride to city). Very good value for the price.

The hostel was great for what we needed. The people and staff were very friendly, giving us great recommendations and tips about our stay and further travels around the area. The room was clean and organised, with lockers next to bed and space for all bags, and with comfy beds. The communal space was bright and inviting, with a filter tap to drink the water from, and with free tea and coffee to have, and the facilities (kitchen and bathrooms) were clean and well maintained.

The guy working there was quite helpful and friendly. It was quite warm inside and he was willing to be help with anything really. I felt quite comfortable there.

Rustam the owner is the most friendly person i have ever met in a hostel.He really gives everything to make the guest happy..and the name of the Hostel -Friends-totally describes the atmosphere that we wants to present.He pick me up and return me in a snowstorm to the airport. He cleaned my clothes for free.. If you go to Astana you will not find better person

The bathroom is a bit small, but hey for the money I can’t complain much.

It’s very clean, the host is amazing and very friendly. The beds are nice and comfortable, in terms of security the front door has a passkey so it’s very safe and you get a locker for yourself.

One of the best hostels that I've had the pleasure of staying at! Beds are very comfortable, spacious common area with a kitchen is nice for hanging out. Convenient central location with bus stops nearby that can take you wherever you need.

Astana is a pretty big city, so be prepared to use public transport or taxi (pretty affordable) to resch the main sights.

A very new nice small hostel with a very friendly and helpful host. The location is pretty convenient with lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. It's also a walking distance from the river embarkment, which offers a nice place to walk. The beds are super comfy, one of the best I've had in a hostel.

Arrived as per message just after 8pm Rainy outside and upon arriving into the compound where the hostel is located , gate were locked and had to wait for someone to drive in to get in After upon arrival rang the bell to me avail the called and called and called. 30 mn later got through someone and was told someone will be coming in 2 mns … turned out to be a lie and an other one staying at the hostel was task let to let me in … staff came few hours later ! After that never seen him again and never seen anyone at the reception despite written that it’s manned 24 hours Bathroom during my 2 days stay were not cleaned and only 2 of them between 3 dorms so nowhere near enough Hostel located far away from main sights
