We stayed one night on our trip to another city. Staff at the hotel was extremely friendly, pleasant, and impeccably polite. Our room was spacious, modern and clean, with a large and comfortable bed. I highly recommend staying here.

We loved every minute of our stay. It was a very special occasion for us, our first wedding anniversary and all the staff were very attentive. A very touching welcoming gift was very much appriciated when we arrived in our very comfortable and well equiped bedroom . We loved the view over snowy Astana. Dinner at Salter's was unforgettable and breakfast at Emilya's unbelievable. We will definitly come back, need to try the SPA!

The kitchen at the main restaurant - Emiliya - is a real disaster. We have tried it for dinner, breakfast and in-room dining. The breakfast was fine, but the dinner and the in-room dining were arguably the worst food we had in a 5* hotel for many years of travel. Okroska (well known Russian cold soup) was not eatable, and other dishes were cooked in a way it is done in student canteens. The menu at Emiliya is also quite odd for a property of this caliber. In short, try to avoid this F&B outlet or the in-room dining. The other problem is narrow bath tubs. There is no separate shower cubicle, so taking a shower is such a confined space was uncomfortable. This is a room design issue, so cannot be fixed.

The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance from all key attractions and government offices. It looks very new and fresh. Service is great. Rooms are standard good size for a modern 5* tower property. The Michelin-starred Salter's steak house is outstanding by every measure and highly recommended in its own right.

Crowded breakfast, lack of yoghurt, some staff not really helpful. Bed a bit too hard, curtains do not enable blackout which is especially difficult when the room is facing the east.

Friendly responsive staff especially concierge, reception, bell boys (!!) and in room dining and lobby bar. Nice swimming pool, heated floor in bathroom.

Amazing hotel right at the center of the city. Comfortable, spacious room. I really enjoyed SPA center - took the Elemis ritual with hammam, it was splendid. I would totally recommend the hotel and its service.
