We didn't mind the location but it was a bit of a hike to stores/restaurants, and walking up a steep hill to get there may not be for everyone.

Everything was tidy, the A/C in our room kept us comfortable, the view from the balcony was lovely, and the host, Cletus, was friendly and helpful.

Because of a knee injury the walk to and from the harbour was difficult/impossible for me - steep and twisting. Of course that meant that the view was wonderful.

James is an exceptional host, friendly and helpful. He goes above and beyond to ensure that his guests have everything they need during their stay. He contacted us immediately when he discovered that we had left a Kindle in the bedroom and ensured that a very kind taxi driver brought it to us before we had to board the ferry. Thank you, James.

In general, accommodations in St. Lucia seem a bit pricey for what you get. Feels like US pricing for a room 20 years past its prime.

This was exactly what my friend and I needed- a basic place to stay for one night before taking the ferry to Dominica. James was a very friendly host. The walk to the ferry port was downhill, safe and took about 5 minutes.

Well, the location is like very, very, very bad. All just arround the house there is some part of the city that is NOT safe. I was advised to not go out at night to dinner... Hopefully I staid only one night and this was perfect to take the ferry. I even did not dare to get out during the day. The manager is friendly and welcoming. The cleaning was made. Just the location was not appropriate and to be honest, for such location, with also such room this is définitively expensive.

The location was great for us, near the ferry terminal, with a fantastic view of the harbor, with James as our host, with food and drink available when we could just sit and gaze at the cruise ships and cargo ships and activity in the harbor.

This hotel was perfect for our one-night stay prior to catching the ferry. The room was nice and very clean. James was very friendly, he offered us sandwiches when we arrived and breakfast in the morning for a reasonable price.

The worst thing was the totally overpriced standard apartment. We paid 92 US$ for one night and the room wasn’t nice at all. I can’t recommend it.

Type of appliances could be improved eg toaster, hair dryer. Door to room next to the kitchen didn’t close properly so there was a problem with the AC (forgot to mention to James). No hot water running in the kitchen.

The location was great - room 103 had great views of the bay and activity. The manager James was very helpful with all requests.

Didn't like the steep climb to the guess house, but that's the price you pay if you want the great views. TV in the apartment is very small and above the fridge, which made it very difficult to watch from the settee. For the whole of first day and half the second day the fridge didn't work ,but it did get repaired .

The view from the balcony was great i also liked that it was a short walk into town. The owner James is very helpful. Enjoyed my stay.

For the money, services were below basic. Old duvet with holes (photo attached), poorly working latch which meant we would struggle to open the door, poorly furnished kitchen etc. are some examples.

Except for the location (which is close to Castries) and view of the port from property’s balcony, there’s not much to like.

In order to get to the stay, you had to walk through some rather shady areas onto quite a steep hill. Although close to the ferry, this is important to know.

Shared apartment with 2 rooms, each with a comfortable kingsbed size bed. 1 toilet, 1 kitchen. Fresh, friendly staff, helpfull.

It's a 10 minute walk from the bus stop and the ferry terminal. It's perfect when you need to catch an early ferry.

The lack of aircon throughout; it was an unusually hot October. The Inn is on a steep hill, not for the fainthearted if you want to take a walk into town or the village. The price. For one night to make a connection, I understand. However, the facilities and ambience should perhaps offer more for the price.

We loved the host. He was helpful and caring and just a lovely person.
