“Good location near to the stilt fishermen who will pose for cash and let you have a go.
The hotel has a restaurant that’s OK but nothing special where they are mostly trying to sell expensive sea food but no Sri Lankan curry was available.
Property owner is friendly, room was clean and shower was good.
Property is walking distance to the train station.
Did not try breakfast due to power cuts so heartily recommended breakfast at the Fishers Sunset Bar as well as their evening drinks & light meals.
Highly recommend visiting local ancient Buddhist temple nearby and the turtle sanctuary furthest away from the property heading into town after the right turn to the lake where tanks looks pretty clean.
Property only worth 1 or two nights at most.”
