It was a little noisy at night with dogs barking and early morning prayer on the road, but not I their control. Still would not deter me from staying here again!

Traditional furnishings were only the tip of the iceberg, from the staff to the exceptional food, hospitality and kindness, then the views and facilities were amazing. Highly recommend this place!! The staff were a highlight!

Sound proofing in the rooms isn't great

Beautiful building, stunning rooms. Lovely and helpful staff, delicious food - best Sri Lankan breakfast we had in 2 weeks of travelling. Short drive to centre of town.

We thought the breakfasts were small and over fussy . It would be better to have a buffet as do other hotels of this standard. We asked for a packed breakfast as we had an early start one day . The packed breakfast was poor .The 'pool' is too small for swim and more for lounge. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned - staff should have asked us at the start of our stay whether we wanted it 'cleaned /refreshed daily. Unlike other hotels of this standard that we stayed in we did not find the staff knowlegable about local facilities ( for example, trains and transport generally).

This is a 'smart' tastefully decorated hotel .Staff were helpful .Wi-Fi and AC was good . Good toiletries and plenty of clean, good quality towels. Nice garden ( but on the road,so noisy ). Room had good sound proofing.

It was one of the most beautiful hotels! The interior is really amazing. The hotel staff was very nice and smiling. We booked a family room but got a suite because it was available. Delicious a la carte breakfast.

It was wet and cold when we got there.. a room heater would have been nice.

The location although away from the central town, it met all our needs except no heating in the room. But there's is mattress heating which worked v well. Staff are attentive and v flexible. Food is good too..they cater for local a d western. Geeth and his team.are always smiling and helpful.

The weather was stormy when there so too cold for the pool but not the property’s fault!

Really beautiful interior design and bedrooms. We had a lovely two night stay in a room with a balcony. It was very cold and stormy weather so the heated blanket was lovely and cosy. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast and a very generous and enjoyed Sri Lankan breakfast. Ate two evening meals also which were good and very generous portions.

The property is stunning, very well decorated, with wonderful room and bathroom. The common areas, including garden and pool, are very charming. Service is excellent, as well as breakfast. As for value for money, it is one of the best hotels I have been around the world.
