The view from the hotel room of the lake was amazing, the room was on the small side and there was no furniture on the balcony which was a shame. Unfortunately there was a problem with the electricity so I had to go to dinner with wet hair. I was the only person eating in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and the staff were hovering all the time which was rather uncomfortable, it was done with the best of intentions but they were trying a little to hard.

There's a slight issue with condensation in the room. Probably due to lack of designed ventilation. Some doors have swolen with damp and are hard to shut.

The wifi was not strong enough in the rooms. Improvement in parking facilities need to be done.

The dinner was exceptional. Acceptable western breakfast. A bit more variety like some Eastern Dishes would have been good. Facilities in the room were exceptional. All the areas appeared to be spotlessly clean.

Location of the stay is very good and lake view in front of the room is the pleasant thing you can ask for when you get up in the morning.The owners helped us a lot with the check-in we reached in the midnight with out reservation and they helped us with the accommodation and even they did not charge us that night. such hospitality is worth visit again.we will definitely re-visit.

For what we paid for 1 night the least we could've had is clean hotel slippers, they provided pre used ones used by other guests I'm assuming, which was shocking since these slippers are supposed to be disposable. Towels were wrapped up neatly but wet not damp, wet. Carpet was moldy. And we could smell the mold when we slept, Breakfast plates smelled like eggs. Every cup and plate they used to serve us smelled like eggs. I've had better coffee in cheap local restaurants than what I had at the hotel. The bathroom doesn't dry even with the fan on, it was just a wet mess after we showered coz the water just seems to sit there unless you manually wipe it down. We would've done it ourselves but no wiper was provided. And most importantly they don't have a landline in the room to contact reception (which they later informed that we're supposed to call from personal phone. I didn't complain about anything coz the staff members seemed really polite and friendly. I think they just need a little more training on how to manage the hotel and what facilities to provide.

Loved the location, the hotel itself is located on a upwards hill so driving is a challenge but it's beautiful.

Probably the most underrated find on my trip - beautiful property with a great view and very hospitable staff! The view from the rooms are on par or better than anything you can find in Nuwara Eliya! The actual rooms are even better than the pictures, and very clean. And the breakfast was delicious (English Breakfast)! Would definitely recommend when visiting Nuwara Eliya!

It was so cold and drafty! When we were in Nuwara Eliya it was only 7 degrees at night. The one thing the hotel seems to be missing is proper insulation and/or heating. Upon pointing this out the staff was so kind to provide us with a little electric heater. It got the room up to a more comfortable temperature during the evening, but as we turned it off when sleeping the draft quickly took over and the room became cold again. So much so that I ended up sleeping with lots of layers on and beneath the thin duvet, a towel and a woollen jumper.

Despite being a little hard to communicate with, the staff is super friendly. The breakfast is tasty. Comfortable bed, hot shower, great view over the lake!

The room was cold and damp, your clothes got damp after a few hours in the room. There were too many big furniture in the room, even though the bed was stated to be a king-size it looked max as a queen-size to me and it was shorter than usually. The optional dinner was the worst meal we have had in Sri Lanka. It had to be ordered 2 hours ahead, which we was only informed about at 7 PM, so dinner at 9 PM. When served the food was between lukewarm and cold, spice wise it seemed to only include chili - and a lot (I usually take Sri Lankan food at native spiciness, but this was very hot). On top of that it came at a high cost. The included breakfast was served strangely, we asked not to have meat in the breakfast, this resulted in a plate with 4 half mushrooms roasted on a plate with 3 dots of ketchup. Coffee is a local brew which is not in my taste, but then also served lukewarm. Staff in "the restaurant" lacks knowledge and routine around how to serve a meal - I also suspect poor English skills is involved. All in all an overpriced stay with no sense of luxury

-They scammed me by letting me pay for driver accommodation while they insured the driver at the beginning that he’ll be staying free of charge. -The room was cold and there was no heating. -There were a few insects in the room -No tv or refrigerator. -They did not speak english very well so it was a bit hard to communicate with them. -Loud nightlife noises and there was a smell of cooking in the room.

Sometimes a bit challenging to communicate with the staff because they didn’t speak English as well as the owners. But they where young and still learning. Not really a problem.
