Bed is nice. Location is good. The owner is very nice and did help us with the tuktuk. They have a good parkingspot right in front of the hotel.

No air-conditioning.

Given 9 due to host. The accommodation was good for one night. There is no air conditioning, but when I asked for a fan, the host was wonderful in getting one for me and ensuring that we we comfortable. No restaurant onsite and a bit far from town, so you will need a driver. Wifi works well.

For some reason, the room I was staying at felt like very humid. Water heater in the shower has very low capacity, and hot water ran out rather quickly.

The hotel is located on top of the hill with excellent view to the sunset and the valley. Tea plantations in 3 mins walking distance. Tea factories in 10 km distance (need a tuk-tuk or car to get there). Super helpful personnel. There is an open space suitable for some events in the open air (if weather allows).

Amazing stay! The beds are very comfy with a gorgeous view of the mountains, and everything was very clean. I loved sitting on the balcony to watch the sunset. The breakfast is so delicious, including a full plate of fresh fruit each morning. It is quiet and peaceful, located away from the bustle of town. The staff were excellent, and Uzman was especially wonderful during my stay.

The parking was a challenge!

Lovely hotel with a French owner which is reflected in the decor which is weirdly french regency. It is a bit out of town, but high up with a stunning view across the mountains with Adams Peak standing out. But the best thing about the hotel is the staff. The two cousins who looked after us were so friendly and helpful, we were only there for one night, but they did everything to make our stay perfect. We were visiting Hortons Plains the morning we left the hotel and they made us breakfast an hour before the normal time so we could get an early start. Can't thank them enough, they really were brilliant and a pleasure to deal with

We are glad to have found this gem from similar excellent reviews. If you want a room with a view then look no further. We were provided a traditional breakfast, which was a real treat. The room seems basic but the important points of a good bathroom and comfortable bed met our needs. We didn't need the air cond or TV but was available. We ordered dinner to the hotel. Just allow at least an hour. There is a lot to choose from. We received such warm friendly service on arrival and throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place. 👌

Smell in the bathroom was not very nice but we stayed only 1 night. We expected a more fancy and neat place according to the Fotos and rate.

As I mentioned, there was no hot water (common in Sri Lanka) which was really uncomfortable in the cold weather of Nuwara Eliyah. And their credit card machine was broken, which I discovered when rushing to check out to make it to my train to Ella! Nevertheless they took me down to an ATM in town and kindly drove me to the station, which did save me. This was highly appreciated. While the place is nice looking, the pics of the building are a bit misleading.

My check in and check out processes were not very efficient. But what I really liked was that both times they were truly apologetic and solutions-driven. The room is very comfortable and quite pretty. I really liked the positioning of the plug points and the lighting switches. The bathroom was beautiful but no toiletries and there was no hot water in the morning. The rainforest shower with 4 different settings would've been great to use. Mumtaaz and Usman were really lovely and helpful and Usman's breakfast spread was one of my favourites in Sri Lanka. Beautifully presented and delicious. And the freshly ground French coffee was amazing. The views from the room and the common/dining area were great.

Excellent views with very friendly service. Location was great, it was away from the centre so was not too noisy. The view from our bedroom was fantastic. Large bathroom with very nice shower.

There was a foul stench coming out of the bathroom. We used a towel to cover the shower drain. It was also quite dirty. The closet, the bed, almost everything was covered in stains because of the high humidity. The shower was nice, but the boiler is very small. After 5 minutes you run out of hot water. So only 1 person can take a proper one. For this kind of money there are better options. We hope the owner/staff will step up their game. The location is A+, just put some more effort into it to make it gold.
