Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). Saudi ArabiaRooms are small as compared to some of the other hr similar hotels in that area. In room dining was very bad. Service was taking too long and also what you get was not good quality and not value for money. We ordered fruit platter that had bad quality fruit and that too of small quantity for the price charged.
The property is a bit old but still quite nice. Have some good restaurants I side the hotel.

AustraliaWasn’t very pleased with the cleanliness of the carpet in the room. I’d suggest the cleaning management to invest in heavy duty vacuum cleaners with brush heads to be able to pick all the hair and external dirt embedded in the carpet.
Great location with plenty of space. Loved the variety at breakfast, was enough to keep us going till dinner.

Staffs is amazing, they are very friendly and accommodating. It's a perfect place to stay with a luxurious hotel like Cinnamon Grand Hotel. Will recommend this. United KingdomThe room was a bit basic, it would have been nice if it was more friendly and warm. Couldn't open the windows at all. A baloney would have been nice for the price I paid. The welcome drink wasn't fresh sadly.
Breakfast was amazing, classic Sri Lankan food, really really enjoyed. The pool was exceptional and clean. The changing rooms were very clean too. Would definitely come back with family. Children will love it.

AustraliaThe booking instructions I received specified payment terms which included paying in US dollars and not in Sri Lankan rupees. I exchanged US dollars to enable cash payment and was told the terms had changed. This seems like a small inconvenience but now means I have US dollars I won’t use and my funds for the remainder of the holiday need to be managed differently. I had recurrent problems either my door lock which needed to be fixed several times.
As per the name the hotel felt “grand” although some parts of the service seemed overlooked and some facilities seemed aged. The location was excellent for sightseeing. The Lagoon restaurant was great value for money and you can select your own seafood for the helpful staff to cook.
