KuwaitWe were only there for a day and these were under the circumstances of the pandemic. The hotel had downsized to one restaurant (not advertised..) and one bar/cafe, many other facilities were closed. Staff were either over eager (restaurant) or guarded (reception). Management were present and seemed to just stare, making me very uncomfortable at times. The food on offer was bit included in the room price and the range was very limited and disappointing. I think the hotel would be at its best once the pandemic was over.
The location was beautiful, as was the hotel structure itself. The room was beautiful and room service staff tried there best to make us comfortable. The cafe/bar was very good.

United Arab EmiratesNot much wasn't enjoyed, especially in the case of the hotel. Although, I thought its good to mention that when travelling in and around to your daily attractions - we travelled most days by taxi - and often felt nauseous. I think this can be said about travelling anywhere in the mountainous regions of Sri Lanka. Best to take a tuk-tuk, you might scare your pants off, but the fresh air helped a bit, and/or hire a car for the long roads and drive the way you want to drive. If you don't get motion sickness then disregard.
We only booked two nights at the hotel, but were so comfortable and happy, we booked another night - what more can I say! Everything from the friendly and helpful personnel, room / pool services, buffet meals and additional amenities were fantastic, I cannot fault Earl's Regency Hotel. Also, must be one of the best pools I've ever experienced. Eye opening clean, nestled into the surrounding rock outcrops and waterfall, with a proper Sri Lankan forest view that gets kissed by the setting son in the evening. The hotel's location is great and easily accessible and 15min away from Kandy Lakes and the beautiful and intriguing city and all it has to offer. I will miss waking up and going outside on my balcony overlooking the lush green forests of Kandy, the beautiful pool and later walking across an impressive and pretty bridge to some of the best food I had in getting ready for my day.

PakistanRoom service food is terrible, breakfast is not worth having and not up to international standards at all. Property should be rated a 3 star at best. Property is aging and faculties and furniture needs major refurbishment. Not sure why it gets good reviews, I suppose everything is relative but apart from the staff who were very welcoming everything else about the hotel is disappointing. I also note that they seemed to have lost my booking when I arrived however made a room ready for me quickly.

PolandThe rooms are vile. The corridors are dim. Very dayed hotel with horrible old wood smell in the rooms. The cherry on top was a massive porcupine running in the pool area in the dark. The room was booked for 3 ppl but there was only two sets of towels and the extra bed was not ready. Adding extra bed was possible but at sudden extra charge

Sri LankaAlacarte menu options for lunch is poor. Who needs Indian food. The Reception staff confirmed local food is available but the waiter in the restaurant says no. What nonsense is this? Room wall cupboards full of dust and under the bed full dust.. i took pictures to prove it… terrible house keeping… Room 301 door closer is wasted and the door returns back fast it is totally unsafe and will lead to a concussion.

Czech RepublicHotel has a contrats with travel agencies. It means thousands of turists, every 10 minutes arrives one bus. Noise at the pool. Mochito small and expensive. Poor quality. Room old and damaged. Not clean. The staff spoke about renovated rooms with new equipment. It wasn't true. Aircondition not sufficient to cold the room. This is not my style. But for some people it can be good. Just pity that as I know, booking will cenzore my pictures and you will have not opportunity to see that.
There was nothing what I could appreciate. It was my mistake to book this property.

Sri LankaDirty uncleaned bathroom. Commode not cleaned properly . when entered the toilet it was left with a half used toilet tissue roll. wash basin, bath tub were clogging. Had torn bedsheets. bathroom / toilet too small cramped. Royal Pavillion restaurant displayed 30% discount, when inquired from the restaurant staff whether we get 30% off on our total restaurant bills they said yes. When checking out the front desk staff were not aware of any discounts, then the restaurant said 30% discount only on food and brought a internal circular to show, which I disputed as it was the responsibility of the staff to provide correct information. Lack of knowldge of credit card discounts / decision making skills delayed my next leg of the trip by almost 1.30 hours.
