*there were insects but understandable I guess since it's in that particular location *Balcony was so dirty *Be aware that check in is at 4pm. We checked in before because we paid the entrance fee at the orphanage. So one night cost us 30dollars more than the price of the room.

The hotel is very well located with a wonderful view on the river swimming pool with the view on the elephant bathing on the river. Giant bat the all goes out at sunset. If you arrive before 4pm you need to pay for the park entrance because the hotel is located on the park but after you don’t pay and you can see the elephant on the morning for free.

Just because of the property exclusivity and the location, the hotel can do so much more in terms of room and property upkeep, which is not up to the mark. The food is also average.

This property location and view is top notch. The pool is a bliss and the rooms with balconies are super spacious. You can genuinely see the elephants upclose all day as depicted in the pictures (they come in batches).

I arrived before my check in time they don’t let you enter the premises if you don’t go to pay at the elephant entrance. Which arriving after a long flight we where thinking of sitting down to have lunch at the hotel. Sorry never again.

Room was not very clean, there were stains on bedsheets, smelly towels, bathroom was clogging, not good furniture. Very less vegetarian food options.

Best part was d pool overlooking elephants taking bath in d river. Room balcony view was good.

Rooms was a bit dirty, but manageable. It was written that hotel is handicap access, but it wasn't at all.

Very friendly and helpful employees. You have such beautiful view. You can watch elephant bath from hotel rooms or pool. Absolute fantastic experience

The check in was 4pm which we found unusual but we didn’t mind as we thought that we could leave our bags at the hotel then go explore. Little did we know that the whole area is owned by the elephant orphanage and you have to buy a ticket (not expensive 9-15 US dollars) to enter the area where there are 3/4 hotels as the elephants are brought this way to the river. I highly suggest you do this though as this is the river access for the elephants and you can eat there etc… I would have just like to have known before hand.

The staff were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to look after us. The hotel itself could do with some renovations but overall did it’s purpose well. We had a triple deluxe room (208) and it is guaranteed the best view of the river.

The place was really nice good view and the elephants bathing was a plus. the staff was so helpful even the recommendations to go for the buffet instead of ala carte was so helpful. The restaurant was so nice and location was on point facing the stream. We arrived at 3am but still there was someone to help us with our luggage and also give us our rooms and everything was taken care of. Much recommended for a reasonable stay with a great view and amazing food as well.

Our A.C. did not work and the room was like a greenhouse with the massive glass windows but they moved us to another room once they realised they could not fix it

Odd that you can't check in till 4pm.

Great location on the river, pool overlooking the elephants. I was there in off-season (May) so hotel was quiet, which was nice. Staff were friendly. Restaurant area open air, overlooking river.
