United KingdomSteep rocky road up to the hotel. Quite far from the town (10 mins by tuk tuk) but I knew this when I booked it. We took tuk tuks which the hotel can arrange for you.
The room was amazing, very big with a sofa and large bed and balcony. Nice bathroom with hot water. The view from the large windows was amazing, overlooking the mountains and tea plantations. The sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. Breakfast was very nice.

The rooms are huge with amazing views. We had the suite with a jacuzzi, which was a lovely extra. The location is a way out of town, but we enjoyed the tranquility. The Sri Lankan breakfast was a highlight.

MaldivesThe only thing we didn't like was the steep and rugged pathway to the hotel. It is fine if you can arrange a vehicle to go up the steep road. We had a driver help us to get to and from the hotel, so we didn't face any difficulties throughout our stay. It is sometimes difficult to find vehicles to head into town. However, the hotel staff helped arrange vehicles. The location of the hotel is outside of the main town, so it was far from a lot of the attractions.
The view was a complete winner. We stayed an extra 2 days to just enjoy the views. It was totally worth the price for us. The room came with comfortable beds and amenities needed. Rooms were huge. There are heaters in all rooms, which keeps the rooms warm regardless of the weather outside. The bathroom was clean. The chefs were wonderful, the food was really very good. Breakfast was tasty. Staff were helpful.

Absolutely everything. The hotel was stunning and very clean, the room was amazing, huge and clean. The view was breathtaking and the jacuzzi was just WOW. The staffs were really helpful and always happy to assist at anytime. The food was the best we ever had, the quality, the taste and the presentation of the items were perfect. The little attention to details the staff give was so sweet even gave us a small flower bouquet on the Valentine’s Day. If I ever go back this will be the hotel I would choose over and over again.
