Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

OmanEverything We stayed in the Villa, it’s one of the best in the world. Located in Rubber and Cinnamon trees farm. The staff were super friendly specially Ajith made sure our stay was super comfortable. The food was good, i think they could do better. Overall i will always recommend this place to anyone visiting Sri Lanka

QatarThere was a sound coming from a nearby area, I didn't recognize what it was, but it was preventing me from listening to the nature sound. Also, on our last night, the electricity kept disconnecting for seconds, and when it was reconnecting, the machine of the curtain was making some noise, and we couldn't disconnect it. We called the staff and they said they would send an electrician but they sent someone who didn't understand english and he said he would come back after 10 minutes but he didn't come back. We waited for 30 minutes, then we slept because finally it stopped the noise. This was a big problem for us since we had to go to the airport very early next morning. When we woke up, there was no water in the bathroom. We used water bottles to wash and clean, and we are lucky this didn't happen before. I hope they fix this problem because everything else was really perfect and I hope to come back and find that it was fixed.
The view was amazing. The villa was very big. There was more privacy in my villa #7. The food was delicious. I enjoyed watching Netflix and YouTube during my stay. The staff were very helpful. I definitely want to come back again.

I loved everything especially the view from my villa, welcoming massage, yoga class, food, friendly staff, the room and pool, floating breakfast... it is like a dream
