The pool and hot tub were closed. The breakfast cost surprised me, because I’m used to complimentary breakfast at all other hotel stays.

It was a nice hotel. I felt the staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was prepared exceptionally. Service at breakfast was also wonderful.

I was under the impression that this facility was a smoke free facility. I had to smell marijuana from the time I got there until the time I left. I was awakened at 3:00 a m by the smell of marijuana. I don’t think any of the staff or security walked the halls to see if the guest were following property rules. I couldn’t watch television because there wasn’t a signal. No one asked how was my visit. In fact, the only staff at the desk when checking out, was a young lady in training.

I must say, it was very clean.

Ran out of breakfast by 9, only continental breakfast no juice only water, only booked the room cause they usually have really good breakfast. It was a disappointment

The beds are very uncomfortable. Like trying to sleep on a board. Not enough plug ins for computer/phones. One of the plug in over the desk looks like it had been burnt.

It was a nice place. We ate dinner at the bar, the food was great. The hot tub was working and very relaxing. The grounds, building and rooms were clean and maintained well.

Had to wait pass 4:30 to get checked in. That’s too long The humidity in the room is too much. The a/c needs to be looked at. Our items,the bed sheets and pillows felt all wet The tv was not working Kids above us ran for about 2 hours at night

I think that I was a bit afraid of the crime rate in Benton Harbor. I was there to spend time in St Joseph which is very different community given the racial divide. Water quality not excellent. Suggest travelers use bottle water to brush their teeth.

Omelette portion was huge. Get in early so the cook is not in a rush. They do not like that.

The room that I had had an LED light that blinked all night long like a strobe light in the dark room. The staff seem to always have a angry or disgruntled look on their face whatever we would pass through the lobby

The front desk clerk was on the phone the whole time during my check in and handed me my room key and Signaled his head in the direction of my room without saying a word while on the phone.

Restaurant was not open. Nobody was at front desk a lot of the time. Room door did not lock when I left the room. Maintenance was supposed to come fix, but never did.

They ran out of coffee in lobby. She took the urn and said it will be ready in 5 minutes, 15 minutes later I left with no coffee. The kitchen has a sign saying "Welcome Back" but no food out or anybody cooking. This was at 8:00 on Saturday morning.

Update your site ASAP……… we booked this hotel because my wife has chronic pain and it had a hot tub. NOPE WE FOUND OUT IT WAS CEMENTED OVER THAT NIGHT WHEN WE ALREADY CHECKED IN….and your pictures show a hot tub. Also on IPhone maps when you scroll down it says HOTTUB….We have 4 kids and booked this hotel for the 2 boys birthday and we booked 2 queen beds and sofa bed like we have done the past 2 years when we stayed. NOPE WE GOT TO THE ROOM AND THE SOFA BEDS WERE REMOVED DUE TO A REMODEL. They did accommodate us to adjoining rooms after they finally agreed. UPDATE YOUR SITE ASAP…. This was a total crappy experience and we would go every year because it was the only one around with a hot tub for my wife. Well that’s not the case anymore. Also who did you all use for your remodel??? Trim was falling off, paint splatter on the windows and PTAC unit. Door wouldn’t open all the way and scraped on the tile and other sketchy work. The only great thing about our stay was CHEF MARCIA. Her food was excellent.

I booked a king room with a sleeper sofa. On check in, the room we were given only had the king bed. The lady at the counter, who was very nice, said they didn’t have a room as described anymore. She switched us to a double queen. We got to the new room and the key card didn’t work. Back to the counter where she reprogrammed the key card. Back to the room and it still didn’t work. Back to the counter where she said the card reader must be messed up. She gave us a new room. When we got to room #3, there weren’t any trash cans and the toilet was malfunctioning and we had to take the back off the toilet every time we flushed. Woke up the next morning to only find out that the continental breakfast was $10.

I tried to contact the property to make a change to my reservation but no one answered the phone. I sent a message via app and did not get a response. The rooms were nice, however, when my partner and I got up to our room the door was propped open. There was a random extra pillow case on our bed. When we went inside to use the bathroom there was a tissue in the toilet like someone was using it after it was cleaned. My parent's reported that their bathroom was not very clean.
