It is a fair journey away from Nuwara eliya, but they can help organise transport. A touch expensive for us budget travellers, but a fair price in Nuwara eliya, would book again if we come back. I hope the dog is still kicking!

Very welcome host family … and dog. I loved the dog. Big pot of tea when we arrived, was absolutely amazing. Room was recently refurbished, and freshly painted. Really comfy bed with so much sheets for the cold mountains. Breakfast is worth the price, was huge with loads of fresh seasonal fruit, the best pancakes and smooth tea (we got extra tea!) organised us tuk tuks for getting into town, and organised us a tour of waterfalls and tea plantations for a fair price, the host dad was lovely and smiley! It is in the highest village in Sri Lanka so the views are incredible! The dog was a highlight, i hope he is doing ok cuz he is an old gentle soul.

Excellent location in a very nice small village near Nuwara Eliya. Great family who made us feel home, with home cooked meals, super full breakfasts. Very comfortable bed, warm blankets!! We slept 9 hours. You can walk around in the village - also among the tea plantations. Stayed 2 nights, would stay here again!

We loved our stay here, nestled away up in the tea plantations. The host family are lovely and were incredibly helpful. Home cooked breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. Possible to organise a tour of a nearby tea factory. Another highlight was simply walking around/to the nearby villages and soaking in the views. Highly recommend a stop here!

The furniture in the house and the bathroom are a bit old and not in the best condition. Warm water was poor.

The whole family is very friendly. We visited a tea plantation and made a tour to some waterfalls. The house is a bit outside in the mountains, but they always offered a free shuttle service to the town for food or any activities. We felt us like a part of the family and were allowed to use the whole house

It is not a complaint but i did not know how to work the shower, so make sure you know before you get in

This homestay was impeccable. Everything about staying here was to a very high standard. The food was delicious and substantial. It was lovely to eat with other back packers and converse. The owner kindly dropped us off at the bus station as we changed our ninds about getting a train at the last minute incaae we could not get a seat. I would have happily stayed longer but we was on a tight itinerary.

Great room inside a very nice family’s home. The room was clean and comfy, we appreciated the shower heater as the weather is cold, specially at night. The family was super nice and they offered tea free of charge:)

Located just outside of Nuwara Eliya, in a tranquil and friendly village. The family are incredibly welcoming, and I had the best Sri Lankan food here in the 3 trips I've made to the country!

They did not have wifi, the HOTWATER was not hot more like mildly warm rooms were small but clean. They did not have the facility to make tea or provide the provision to make it (tea bags and sugar and other necessities), Considering the available facilities, felt a bit overpriced but considering it's the Nuwaraeliya season .. MEH !!

Amazingly friendly hosts. Husband and wife run operation around 6 rooms available. Evening tea was given free, but charged for the morning tea. When we said we want to check out the other rooms to see the view they arranged that as well without hesitation as they were not all occupied. Surrounding view is good, but no direct view off the rooms or anything as such, need to step out of the house.

One of a staff member was very very rude, once we making the booking he was asking for advance payments. be careful when you are making the bookings. not recommending for any one.

If you’re looking for a cheap stay, we would not recommend eating dinner there. It’s good food, homemade but the dinner cost almost the same as the night stay. We didn’t expect it when we received the bill.

Super friendly hosts. Delicious food. It is a house, so if you are ok with that it’s a real nice experience.
