Staff was super friendly and helpful with everything, including transportation arrangement and tourism information. Room was spacious. Beds are comfortable. Aircon is powerful. Shower was fully functional, even with socket for razors! There is a swimming pool in the hotel, which is always a big plus. Breakfast was pretty nice too.

Il Frangipane is a hidden piece of paradise, it was our 1st Sri Lankan hotel and it was really hard to leave it. Raveen and his team were super friendly and helpful, providing everything we needed: transfer from the airport, tuktuk before 6am, drinks etc. We were taken care of :) The hotel itself has a beautiful garden with a pool, it felt like taking a swim in the jungle. The room we had was beautifully arranged and comfortable, pool towels were included. The shower had a separating wall preventing the water from spreading all over the floor (not always a given in the country). There are many restaurants in walking distance, and it is very close to Sigiriya rock (we walked back). All in all, we had a great stay, just too short. Thank you Raveen and team!

Excellent small hotel located in a quiet lane. Rooms are very spacious including the bathroom. Nice pool and loungers, great for cooling off and relaxing after Lion's Rock or local tours. Gardens are luxuriant and well-maintained. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is huge, lots of fruit and fresh juices. Helped us with onward travel. Lion's Rock is only a 15 minute walk to entrance. Several nearby restaurants including the superb Kenoli. Very highly recommended.

The dinner options could be more, but the breakfast was really nice and tasty.

The property was fantastic, and the staff was very nice and friendly. The room was big and clean. The swimming pool provides additional bonus points for chilling out on hot days.

Staff were really friendly and excellent at helping us to arrange tours and transport, it was a great base to explore the area. Breakfast was amazing and we really loved the pool area and garden which was kept immaculate. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Sigiriya!

We had an incredibly relaxing stay at this beautiful accommodation. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable for the three of us with excellent hot water. The property was really well located to Sigirya and Pidurungala and we took a day trip to Polonnaruwa. The breakfasts were great and there were a number of places to eat a short walk away. Staff were warm and friendly and happy to help with all our requests. The garden felt like a beautiful oasis and retreat after a morning of sightseeing in the sun. Would definitely come back.

We stayed in the deluxe room - huge and beautiful, a small mini fridge and some milk/creamer for the tea would be fantastic...only tiny! This place is fantastic

Wonderful hosts, Pody and the boys were brilliant from the moment we arrived, helping with bags, bringing treat juices and helping us organise all our adventures! The pool is 10m from the apartment rooms and perfect for cooling off. Don't hesitate, this is the little of heaven that you need.

We are very happy that we chose this accommodation in Sigiriya. Here we found a cozy and peaceful background for our trips in this area. Spacious clean room. A beautiful garden full of flowers and also the pool. Rich breakfast. The owner and other staff were very nice and helped us with everything we needed. They advised us when to go see the main local tourist spots and also where to go and see outside the main tourist spots. Thank you.

Fantastic staff , warm welcome and gave us lots of advice . They helped plan all our activities ( the safari we went on was excellent with a fantastic guide ) .and our transfers . Lovely pool with towels supplied which was a great bonus after being out in the heat . Our favourite hotel during our stay , would definitely recommend staying here .

the garden, the pool, the room, the team, the breakfast, everything was superb. One morning, we took a trip to Lion Rock and informed our hosts that we wanted to have breakfast later. He picked up some bananas to take along for the excursion so we wouldn't get hungry.

The staff are lovely. We were able to book a transfer from the airport directly through the hotel along with some great drivers throughout our stay in sigiriya. The room is spacious and clean and in a fantastic location, just a short walk to some grest resurants and the entrance to lions rock.

Nothing it was perfect!

Fantastic place within easy walking distance of Sigariya Lion Rock. The accommodation is modern, clean and well maintained with comfortable beds and large spacious rooms. The pool is just perfect after a long morning walking in the local area and the staff are so helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits, eggs and local pancakes and rotis - I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Sigiriya.
