Everything was perfect, unbelievable view from balcony on Sigirya. Room was clean, breakfast also really good with a view exactly like pictures and for this money we highly recommend!:) if we will come back, we definitely book Kashyapa again!

The wifi didn’t work all of the time but it wasn’t really a problem.

It was amazing staying here! I loved the view of the Lion Rock and the rice field in front of it. The owners were very nice and it was very comfortable. The Lion Rock was a 30 min walk away and the Pidurangala rock 1 hour walk.

The owner was super helpful and couldn't do enough for us, exceeded all expectations. The views from the balcony are awesome and to eat breakfast looking over Sigiriya was an amazing experience. Super close to all shops/cafe’s walking distance from Lion’s rock too.

There was no toilet roll but we had our own so didn’t ask, but maybe they could have supplied some had we mentioned it.

The property was in a great location not far from the Main Street, with a great view of the Lion rock. The owner and staff were very kind and super helpful and sorted us out some scooters and a taxi etc. also the breakfast was very good.

There was a little bit of music from nearby local bars but it finished early and didn't detract from our stay - just something to be aware of.

Location and value for money you can't really beat. Danushka was the most humble and helpful host - nothing was ever an issue and he can sort out anything (always with a smile on his face)

So close to Lion’s rock and Pidurangala. Close to food and amenities. Everyone on staff is so friendly and goes the extra mile. Highly recommended.

The rooms need a bit of renovation, just new painting would make a great difference. Breakfasts were good but nothing exceptional. The room was a bit hot, A/C was a bit uncomfortable. One bed was a bit too hard.

Great view directly to the rock. The nice landlord, filled all our requests and gave us a bigger room than originally booked.

You get exactly what you paid for. Great views and a nice room. From the staff to the owner, we felt always welcome and they did everything to accomodate our needs. We went for the rock lion and pidurangala hikes really early and they saved us breakfast till we came back at 11h and also let us shower after check out

Amazing place to stay! Room was really comfortable and clean with nice balcony. But the large terrace with the view of Lion Rock was amazing- there is a large field where the birds are living- there were lots of peacocks! It’s 10-15 minutes walk to nice restaurants (Pradeep- best rotti) Super helpful and friendly owners!

Great place to stay if you’re going to visit Lions Rock or Pidurangala. Rooms are big, very clean and have good airconditioning. The view during the breakfast is amazing and the food is great. Additionally, the owner and his family are very kind and willing to help with everything!👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️

Check in was difficult due to host not being there and workers not speaking English.

A very good view from the restaurant area and places to relax and watch the sunset. The room was comfortable and had working A/C. Host was very friendly and even arranged a safari trip for us with pick up from the hotel.
