Amazing, quite location, the owner and his mum are very friendly. Good breakfast, cute house in the middle of a rice field. We went to the center with a tuk tuk (the owner booked it for us and recommended good restaurants). The air is cool, no need for an AC.

Kushan is the best host ever. I was there with my girlfriend during valentines day. He helped me make this day so special. He arranged a delicious chocolate cake in the morning with some flowers. He also recommended me a good restaurant and a romantic hike. It was such a special day thanks to him. Furthermore, the breakfast was superb and the place itself is really cosy and clean. We liked the location as it was quiet, safe and not too far away from everything. From there its easy to do some hiking and get a tuktuk. Thank you so much Kushan and your mom!

Bed was on the short side, people longer than 1.90 will not fit. No watercooker and tea facility inside room.

Great breakfast and very relaxed atmosphere, fantastic host. Location and house are unique but quite far from city so tuk tuk transport is recommended. We travelled with road bikes and the host picked us up with a minivan from Keerthibandarapura to Nuwara Eliya. In addition he was kind enough to think along with route planning amazing service! Definitely recommend this for bikepackers ;)

Our host was extremely friendly and nice, gave us lots of helpful tips and was always ready to offer help. Breakfast was also very tasty. The location is not very close to the city center but close to a very nice waterfall (1hr walking more or less) and calm.

Hello everyone, if you are planning to stay in Nuwara Eliya, definitely stay in Kushan ´s homestay. The accommodation is beautiful, located near to Pedro tea plantation so you can take a walk through the tea bushes (or trees? idk😀). Kushan is very friendly, helpful and kind. Our stay was wonderful here! Thank you Kushan.

We stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved our time here. Although a little outside the centre of Nuwara Eliya (15 mins drive), this is exactly what we wanted. We had some lovely walks to the city and also to Lovers Leap Waterfall. Kushan was the best host we’ve had, he was so kind throughout our stay here. He made us a packed breakfast for our early morning walk to world’s end, which we enjoyed at the top. We then had an amazing dinner in the upstairs of the cabins. He then offered us English or Sri Lankan breakfast and we chose Sri Lankan. It was by far our favourite breakfast of our trip to Sri Lanka. Dhal, sambol and the best roti’s, so tasty! The food although not included within the price was extremely well priced for what we got. The whole stay was incredible value for money. Kushan is a lovely person and I hope as many people as possible get to meet him and stay at La Luna Cabins!!

Kushan (the host) was very friendly. We were given an extra blanket (it was cold and rainy when we were here) and tips on what to see during our stay. His mother is a great cook.

There was no heating in the cabin, there were leaks in the roof and the upstairs commode was not anchored sufficiently. The steps to and from the cabins were challenging with little kids especially as it was raining the day we stayed. It's right next to a road so there is a bit of noise that comes through and wakes you up in the morning.

Very nice hosts, very hospitable and catering to your needs. The food was great. Was very open to feedback and suggestions, so I'm sure they will make this property even better in the future.

Clean room with relaxing vibes. The owner Kushan is very friendly and doing his best to help. His mom made us tea and breakfast everyday. He also gave advices that made the trip better and organized a tour with the help of his friend Janaka who's also friendly, experienced tour guide.

Only a tiny reason is as was raining a lot when we stayed here, it would have been great to have a few hooks or somewhere to hang our clothes so they could dry off.

Very cosy place with a lovely tree house to hang out in the morning and evening. We loved to location for doing walks, very peaceful but close to tea fields and waterfall. Kushan is a very helpful and great host and his Ma’s food is delicious! You must try. Thank you for having us.

Such a lovely place to stay, we were glad to be slightly away from the centre of town. Kushan was a brilliant host, we could have come with no plans at all and he would have ensured we had lots to do to make the most of our time in Nuwara Eliya and onwards! Pedro Tea Estate is a short walk through the tea plantation from the cabin. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect amount, we could choose from Sri Lankan or Western breakfast (we had Sri Lankan). There's a lovely view from the tree house where food is served.

Should you happen to stay there during monsoon season, it could get windy and noisy during the night..

Lovely place, outside of the busy and noisy center, run by Kushan and his mom. Tiny but functional and characteristic place with a wonderful view on the tea plantations. The owner is so kind and very helpful, he even offered to prepare us a delicious local dinner and breakfast home cooked by his mom (served at the top of the tree house). You can experience here the true kindness and pure hearted soul of local people in a nutshell. Definitely recommended!
