Breakfast could be better with more food varities, especially for cheese and fruits. There were lots of flies and the foods weren't covered.

Great location. Staff was very friendly. It was clean and comfortable. Rooms are air conditioned with a nice view of the lake and green hills, also with black-out curtains for those with light sensitivity. Provides free accomodation for drivers.

During our stay there was problem with the room electricity due to which the air conditioning did not work for a few hours which ended up to be an issue of overload and was fixed after calling management At the breakfast you find so many crows on the balcony if you are having breakfast there and if you leave your table for anything your food is going to be eaten by them. This needs to be taken care of

The Hotel is a 15 minutes tuk tuk/car ride from the train station. It is a modern hotel hotel with all the amenities you can think. The rooftop bar along with the swimming pool was our favourite place to spend time. The breakfast menu was vast. We would definitely come back here

Food in the evening was very poor. We went to a pizza restaurant very close to the hotel which was excellent rated on TA.

We were very happy with the room. We had a nice view of the lake. Breakfast was very good. Great location an easy walk to the lake.

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay here and wished we had stayed here for the 3 nights we were in Kandy. The room was lovely and clean as was the bathroom, lovely toiletries and nice balcony overlooking the lake. The pool area is also great, lovely views, music, drinks and the food was nice too. We also had dinner here which was a mix of Sri Lankan cuisine, salad bar and pasta, overall really good. The staff were lovely and very accommodating - we were leaving for the train station at 6am and they made us up a packed lunch for the train to Kandy.

Some sports team members were partying in the hallway - the noise does reach the room aswell. The soundproofing of the door isn't the best. The pricing of the dinner is competitive with Europe ofcourse, but in the city can find better for less.

The topfloor pool is great getaway in the noisy city center - great views aswell. The rooms were very sensibly priced. Huge lobby area. Wide choice of buffet for breakfast. Can eat both indoors with AC or on terrace in the shade.

The room was very dark because of poor lighting. You have to get sunlight in from the balcony to get proper light. So after dark the room is also very dark. Some noise from the neighbour restaurant/bar/hotel, but not enough to ruin my sleep in the evening.

Over all a very good and clean hotel. Good breakfast and dinner buffet. Nice swimming pool and rooftop bar. Close to the City centrum, yet far enough away from the noise and pollution in Kandy centrum.

The only minus was due to lack of guests in the hotel one of the nights there was no buffet. None of the staff informed us prior to the evening dinner which I thought was poor. We were informed by the waiter when we came to dinner. Due to waiter service we did not have the amount of choice we would have had if there had been a buffet.

The breakfast was great with plenty if choice and the same for dinner. The room was spacious and we faced the lake which was nice.

Internet connection: it was a bit better that in other Sri-Lankan hotels but anyway slow, that was just one disadvantage here. And rooftop bar were a bit overpriced.

We booked just a regular twin room without any view, but guys on the reception desk proposed us free upgrade, so we had the great view on the city and the lake. That was nice! :) The room was calm and clean, with comfy beds (and blankets not just sheets!). The stuff was very kind and helpful, the swimming pool on the rooftop is very nice when you're not on a seaside. Location is also good, nearby the main attractions.

The hotel staff was very different to certain people. If you are not white, be prepared to be asked questions before breakfast about your room and if you tell them room number twice they will still ask you if you are sure. So beware!

We booked rooms that had no view, and they upgraded us to rooms which had mountain views, which was great because we absolutely loved it. On our first morning we were greeted by a monkey from our balcony which was the highlight for our kids. The rooms were clean, the breakfast spread was great lots of options to choose from. The food was great especially the desserts. The location of the hotel was great. Many great places around to eat. The staffs at the lobby , the staffs at the restaurant all of them were very helpful and friendly.
