Great room, upstairs space which the kids loved, lovely warm shower, comfortable bed

It was quite warm in our room, and the room only offered a heating source, so the option of air conditioning unit would have been great. Breakfast was quite cold, and there was not much to choose from when we got there. But neither of these hindered our stay.

Queenswood Cottage is a stunning little bit of charm. We loved our short stay at Queenswood, located a short walk into town and located off the road, making rooms quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to book another stay here!

Really bad smell of waste pipes came in the room every so often. Also strong smell of smoke from other rooms. No air con or fans supplied. I asked but hotel for a fan but they said it gets cold at night. As I’m from England, this wasn’t cold for me and the nights stay felt uncomfortable and hot, that with the smells I had a bad nights sleep. This is the only reason I have a 7/10.

Needs to improve on the food choices in in a restaurant, the dish we order did not look anything on the picture on the menu

Late for breakfast tea arrangement. It's not available and better to set up own making tea place. In restaurant.

Breakfast needs to improve with some hot food varieties. Fresh juice should be available. Warm Water should be available. Some traditional foods Good 👍 (Laveria). Replace good toaster. This is for your improvement. Overall good support and service. Thanks 😊

The photos probably make it look a little more secluded than it is in reality. There is a main road, large house and the cabins are behind the house. The surrounding area is built up. Breakfast was average. Balcony was a little scruffy.

The cabin was generous and full of character. Quite unique. Balcony. Stone bathroom. Quaint grounds. Restaurant on site. Clean room. Location is good. On outskirts between town and Lake Gregory. Level location. . Restaurant evening meals were good and room service was good. Staff were attentive and friendly. We visited Horton Plains from here and received a packed breakfast for our hike.

The bathrooms were small and the bath, described as a hot tub in the hotel description was unusable as it didn't have a plug!

The city is at 1900 m altitude, so at night in can be cold, around 10 °C. The bathroom can be cold therefore. The restaurant is Halal, so no alcoholic drinks

The stone bathroom floor was constantly damp.

Our room had a mezzanine level for the twin beds which my son loved. The whole room and the bathroom were spacious and well-decorated. The staff are welcoming and helpful and a free pool table kept my son entertained.

I expected proper heating facilities there than a portable heaters provided. They don’t do the job, also this hotel should consider providing slippers to wear and also cloth hangers etc.

Do not come here if you want wifi because it does not work.

Room was nice and clean, fantastic hot water and water pressure in the shower. Best so far in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was wonderful. Internet let this place down.
