The rooms are very spacious and clean and the property is only a short walk away from Lake Gregory. The host is super friendly and helpful and the traditional breakfast served in the morning was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay!

The rooms were spacious and clean. The property's location was excellent, just 15 minutes walk from Gregory Park. We even enjoyed a scenic walk from the lake to the hotel. The breakfast was fantastic. Mr. Bandara is an incredibly friendly host. He also helped us arrange a taxi for our onward journey at an affordable rate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this place to friends and relatives.

Absolutely none.......Just a bigger board of the place will help to identify the place because there is a hotel named Monfort just before this place Melford which "might" cause confusion, it happened for us.

Where to start🙂...wonderful hospitality by Bandaru, Sumith, Malith; tasty food😋, clean rooms and washroom👍. Spacious beds. On top of all, the location is just opposite to the lake. The balcony view is awesome 🤩

We had a wonderful time at the Melford. The owner was very nice. He helped us with everything. He organized us a tucktuck in the early morning to go to the worlds end hicke and made us a breakfast to go. We can definitely recommend this place.

The owner (I think) is a incredibly kind man! He wrote down all the tips in the area, helped us with everything, served the biggest breakfast & gave us always the best smile :) Besides that we really liked the spacious room, the location close to the lake & the really good shower!

Everything is really clean, the room was huge with two double beds and a big bathroom with toiletries and the host is so friendly. He prepared us a big and delicious breakfast. The location is amazing as you can see the lake and the mountains.
