View, Location, Room, Architecture were all exceptional. Highly recommended. Short steep hill to climb to get to hotel, but that is what provides the wonderful lake view. Short walk to town and markets, and tooth temple a reasonable walk, also. Nice a la carte breakfast either Sri Lankan or western. Staff were all very nice and professional.

United States- The steepness level to get to the property was much worse than I expected from reading previous reviews. For me with intermediate knee issues, this put a lot of strain on them and I was in bad pain for several days after. Not the hotels fault just wish I knew about it before booking. Majority of Tuk tuks can go up and down, only had issues with one Tuk Tuk that couldn’t make it with that steepness. -inside of the rooms did not look as nice as the pictures, pretty outdated with major cracks on the walls. Because of this I would say value for money is on the lower end and would likely choose a cheaper alternative next time.

We had a really nice stay in Kandy. The room was lovely with an amazing view of the lake. It's a short walk into town so it's in a great location. The staff were incredibly helpful - they organised a lovely vegan breakfast for us and organised for us to be taken to Kandy train station for free. We only stayed for one night but could have stayed longer.

United KingdomFood was average, not wow. The Tv was old and useless you cannot do anything with it. There is a scare sleep hill to enter the property that the car will not do, but we discover tuk tuk can do easily. The room was too humid in the room, we had to turn on the dehumidifier from the ac to not smell mould.
The stuff was good. Room decor and furniture were good and comfortable. The bathroom was nice. Nice location nice view quiet.

OmanSadly we did not sleep very well due to noise. Some of the insulation on the door to the balcony was missing/peeling away so that noise travelled very easily through the gaps in the door and into the room.

SpainThe road leading to the hotel is quite steep and was difficult for our hired driver to take us to the hotel from the main road.
The room is quite luxurious and has a lovely view of the lake. The large windows and high ceilings really added to the experience. The breakfast was also really delicious and the chefs made us seconds seeing that we really enjoyed.

Beautifully architecturally designed property in superb location. Wonderful open air balcony/ dining area with views across Kandy Lake to the Temple of the Tooth. Excellent staff.
