There was no usual tea, coffee & sugar with cups inside the room.

Magnificent view from our very spacious family room with clean toilet and comfortable beds. This property is run by a family so you can expect a very personal service from the owner & his lovely family who are very kind, friendly and generous. Greeted us with smiles and welcome drinks upon arrival. He even went out of his way to help us find a place for our driver to sleep during our stay. Hospitality was impeccable, there was New Year treats spread at the dining area for all guests. Staff are also friendly, helpful and respectful. We will definitely book this property again whenever we are in Nuwara Eliya. Highly recommended hotel 10/10.

Only sillly little things really...a kettle but no tea,coffee or even cups in the room. Even tho it is a restaurant our booking said no breakfast option, but we didn't aşk. , sndvthere is nowhere nearby. wner did make us a pot of tea whilst arranging a taxi for us though. No tv in room but probably could have used one downstairs .Don't follow the directions on Booking.com , use google maps!

Owner was very helpful. Not too far to walk into town and Tuk tuk can be ordered.

Location is quite good, only 10 minutes walk to reach the lake (taking a shortcut). Please be aware that on the way back to the hotel you will need to walk uphill or eventually call a TukTuk. Room was clean! Bed was really comfortable. Fresh fruit for breakfast, best to pre order any meals in advance and agree on a time. The Host was really kind and helpful.. he almost managed to get us train tickets to Ella last-minute. Average price for our stay. External laundry service available.

Had an amazing time at "Terrabella - Nuwara Eliya"! Aruna, the host, was so friendly and really made sure the rooms were clean. Staying there felt like being welcomed into a home away from home, and my family and I relished every moment. Despite being new, the property exudes charm and warmth thanks to Aruna's creative touch in design and his culinary prowess. You can't see the lake from the ground floor.

It is probably the cleanest hotel in the whole of Sri Lanka. Very cosy, there is even carpet on the floor, which is very important as it is quite cold. Excellent dinner, everything is fresh, tasty and the portion is huge.

The hotel looks and feels clean comfortable, almost like a brand new. Omelets and rotti were delicious. The location is quiet and peaceful, far from noisy city center (10 mins by tuktuk).

The view from our rooms was amazing & the beds were so comfortable. Aruna & the staff were so friendly & accommodating. He was quick to accommodate a wonderful tour to the tea factory & waterfall. They picked us up from the train station (even though we were late!). The food was so delicious - one of our favourite breakfasts & local curries, for sure!

This place was absolutely gorgeous. We loved everything. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the owner helped us booking train tickets. The breakfast was good and when we started our tour early in the morning we got a breakfast package. The city centre was a little bit further away, but the lake was very close. There also is a nice view over the lake and the mountains. Would definitely recommend!

Exceptional service and very friendly staff. We loved every second there. One of the best budget hotels in Nuwaraeliya. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a calm, romantic experience. Great location too.

As discussed with the owner, Nuwara Eliya is very cold, and unfortunately during the night the rooms were cold as well. The thing that I can suggest is to buy thicker blankets (like comforters) and maybe turn on a heating in the living room during the evening.

Host and stuff very kind and helpful. The location was a little bit far from the center, but very quiet and with a nice view! Delicious food and the room was very clean and perfumed.
