Such a unique property! We had the entire cabana to ourselves and it was very enjoyable! Homely and comfortable! The staff were so kind and couldn’t do enough. Roshan looked after us very well and nothing was too much trouble.

This is a very special place to stay. As soon as you arrive you're offered a drink and the most delicious cake. The cabana was amazing, especially the bathroom (wow!). Most importantly, Roshan made our night here very special, from laying a beautiful table to serving great food. He also organised a 3 hour tuk tuk tour around for us, which took in a tea factory and local sights - it was great. This is a wonderful place for a romantic getaway. We highly recommend it.

Only because I need to find something to say, the ventilation of the bathroom should be with a switch on/off to enjoy a bath with absolute silence. But nothing disturbing

The staff is 100% dedicated to you, the building is just amazing, the views from everywhere, and moreover the surroundings of the house (nice garden, koï pond), the bathtub is also a delight

Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka! We were only there for 2 nights but the staff went above and beyond to make our stay there special. The food was amazing, and the cabana itself is so nice and comfortable, we cut our day short to make the most of being there. Highly recommend!!

Unfortunately there was extremely noisy music until late in the morning, loud barking all night and early market. Of course this is just the nature of the local area but we weren't aware with the information provided on booking.com so we struggled to sleep.

The staff were absolutely faultless. We couldn't have received a walmer welcome. The cabana is beautiful and wel thought out and the food was delicious. The gentleman looking after us even gave recommendations for our next stop.

This villa is the best i had in Sri Lanka, whether it is the architectural design of the wooden cabin or the warm furnishings inside, it made me feel like home in the somewhat cool mountains. Also the food presentation is very well designed, especially it's for free.

Our stay at The Edgware Cabana was such a luxury! The place is beautiful, great views, and feels like a home away from home, but better! The team went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay, giving us all the tips and recommendations not only on Nuwara Eliya but also other places in Sri Lanka. Our breakfast and dinner were served in the cabana and were very good, they always decorated the table and were so attentive to every little detail. I can't recommend this place enough!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Edgware Cabana. The Manager Malinda was an exceptional host, he greeted us on arrival and provided us with drinks and fresh cakes, which were greatly appreciated after a long car journey. The Cabana itself was beautiful and a lot larger than expected. Malinda and the staff made sure to set the ambience in the Cabana before every meal. Each meal was freshly prepared, and it felt like we were eating restaurant quality food in the comfort of our room. Malinda was accessible via WhatsApp at all times. This was one of the best customer service experience I have ever had and will be sure to book again, if I am lucky enough to visit Sri Lanka again.

A very minor point, but there are small gaps between the bottoms of the doors and the floors. The owners should install small rubber piping or similar at the bottom of the doors to prevent water from getting in (it was very rainy during our stay and some water did get in on the floor near the door as a result.

The food was very good and the property is unique. The manager picked us up and dropped us off from the train station for a small fee, which was very convenient. It is a really cozy and original place to spend time in Nuwara Eliya. It is also conveniently located and the manager had some good recommendations for places to visit in town.

To start of, their food is too good… every day they gave us new food up to our liking and preference. the team was just amazing available at all times with a service even better than 5 star hotel. they made sure our driver was also taken care of which we are very grateful for ! they made our honeymoon stay better. highly recommend it !

We experienced a warm welcome in this special hotel. We liked it very much in the separate house, the Cabana. We were pampered all around. Already on our arrival we were served fine fruit juice and delicious cake. Tuk-tuk and taxis were organised for us and we were given the best information about everything we were interested in. They spared no effort to make us very happy: a durian was bought especially for us, as we had never eaten one before, and our laundry was washed for free (the delicate textiles even by hand). Also in terms of food, they left nothing to be desired: Inusha asked what we liked and what we didn't eat and cooked accordingly (also regarding the spiciness of the food). We looked forward to every meal because the food was super tasty. The Curry with the several different side dishes was the best we ever had in our 4 weeks Sri Lanka journey. We are very happy that we stayed in such a great house with best service on our Sri Lanka trip. Thank you very much for everything!

Staff - friendly, super attentive to details, down to earth and make hosting you seem a pleasure. Food- absolutely 💯 incredible. From the fresh produce, to great choices, lots of fruits and vegetables, stunning attention to details on their presentations. The fact it was delivered and setup in the cabana just made this an unforgettable setup. Candle lit dinner was the best meal & setup we had during our whole stay in Sri Lanka. Room - beautifully constructed, no expenses spared, no cutting corners. Quality products have been used to create beautiful rooms, all just stunning,no details forgotten. Beautiful furniture, felt very special and bespoke. Garden- landscape was well maintained, beautiful flowers, trees and bushes. Other - thank for you arranging the lodgings and food for our driver too! Activities- nice and quiet area,but still nice walk to mall, park, markets and the old post office nearby. Keep doing what you do , lovely to see such a beautiful spot , staff with smiles on their faces every time. Thank you for the fruit and delicious sandwich for our drive back to Colombo

Absolutely nothing

It’s a unique property, just few steps away from all the buzz. Cabana is truly amazing, every little detail is thought through. Gorgeous bathroom, with bathtub overlooking the little town and the mountains. Facilities- top class! Better than some 5* Hotels. But all of that would be nothing, without amazing Host, who met us with a biggest smile and was there every time we needed something. Food set up, quality is out of this world. Malinda, keep up good work! And we hope to see you soon.
