We had 4 nights at The Ramp! Perfect location, very good advices and organisation trip from the staff. Everything was managable and he even give us a private cooking class ! The morning breakfast are delicious :)

Great location. So central to the city. Very helpful staff, they are so friendly and are so happy to help in any way! Couldn’t recommended The Ramp enough. The beautiful view off the balcony’s are a plus also!

TV network did not work. We were informed of this.

Friendly staff. Location closer to the town, could walk to the Grand Hotel for dinner. We had Sri Lankan breakfast which was tasty. There was an issue with water supply in the town when we were there and the Manager worked very hard to get water to fill their tanks. Small friendly hotel.

A hairdryer was missing in our room, but this was a minor issue

Comfortable and clean rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even prepared a take away breakfast for us when we went to hike Horton Plains at 05:20 in the morning! The breakfast served in the hotel was also delicious.

I loved my stay at The Ramp! The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was also nice and spacious. The manager was very friendly and helpful! He gave good advice on where to go for dinner and for drinks in the evening! Breakfast was also good!

Location, but its not that bad

regular breakfast for Sri Lanka. Nice view from dining area. A bit far from the central street, but totally within a walking distance. Stayed near the small lobby, so it was a bit noiy sometimes, but the staff tried their best not to interrupt Nice value for money

Extremely kind and helpful staff, offered to arrange a pick up, helped with the luggage also. Quick and easy check-in . Very good breakfast. Spacious room with a view, very clean. The location is 5 min walk from the Victoria Park, the Turf Club, Golf Club and Grand Hotel. 10 -15 min walk from the post office and Pedro estate. Walking distance to Gregory Lake also. Superb stay, thank you so much!

The room was really comfortable. Fridge, kettle, great shower. Breakfast was good, the packed breakfast on our second day was great as we had to leave early. The Grand Thai and Tea Room are close by and good value.

There is one thing, the hotel is a little bit noisy. The walls are thin. But everything else was great.

My mum and I had a fabulous two nights at The Ramp. Sathish was so friendly and accommodating. He organised a Tuk Tuk Safari of the Tea Estates which was excellent. Request the Sri Lankan breakfast - it was fantastic!
