We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

AustraliaUnfortunately the staff need to be taught basic hospitality skills. The restaurant needs to be closed and re opened under new management. I forgave the first instance but after the 4th time I had had enough. Every place I stayed prior to this in Sri Lanka was exceptional — however unfortunately the staff here don’t understand English, so when my group of 4 ordered 4 fish and chips and only 2 came, or when each meal took an hour to prepare, or when they would come back 20 minutes after making my order saying they don’t have that item on the menu (they did this multiple times — eg. I NEVER had curry my entire stay as the staff told me ‘it takes too long to make’) — I was over it. Super sad that some basic training from hotel staff an hour up the road in Bentota/galle/colombo and they would have everything sorted. If you want a 10/10 stay, come here and eat every meal at a restaurant down the road!
It was beautiful. I arrived confused as to why the property was not rated above 9! I intended to give it that rating as the place is beautiful, rooms are fantastic and location ideal.

United KingdomThe room we had could do with updating, but may have just been the room we were in (e.g. broken blinds, bathroom door wouldn't shut without a lot of effort, etc.).
The reception and pool area are beautiful. The greeting on arrival is also brilliant. Really lovely views. The bed and especially the pillows were comfy and had a good night sleep. The staff we came across - especially the front desk staff - were very helpful

NorwayWe had one night here, we arrived early afternoon, checked in and went on a Safari. The hotel is located on the lake, very beautiful room. The room is nice and clean, big bathroom. The swimmingpool is also very nice. When we arrived back from our Safari, the AC was leaking so they changed us to another room and we got a suite which was really nice. Food is good, breakfast is okay, but they do make fresh omelett which was good. The next day we relaxed by the pool before check out and also experienced waterbuffaloes swimming in the lake to the hotel area which was very funny! Would definately come back to this hotel if I visit the nationalpark again, a very good value for money!

I looked at a lot of properties around this area , this is the best in my opinion. Good rooms ,friendly staff , good facilities and good restaurant .

United KingdomSome features of rooms and corridors have seen better days. Don’t expect top resort facilities but do expect good value and an excellent pool area.
View from my room over the lake was very beautiful. Very attractive pool area. If visiting Yala try to stay at least 2 nights to recover from the very early morning and to enjoy the pool, the birds and the views. Staff very friendly and helpful.

HungaryOverall it is a very good hotel, a little brush up would easily elevate it to an excellent hotel standard.
It was a last minute decision to book this hotel, as our original choice was partially destroyed by the week long heavy rains. We had 9 rooms and still the hotel was able to check us in right on our arrival. The rooms are nice, staff helpful. Lunch ala carte was nice, buffet dinner was good. Location is nice, has a nice pool as well.
