How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

A little too far for a stroll into the old city.
Easy to get to and good location to get to the island. Using the Bolt app worked very well for taxis - both cheap and quick. Room was outstanding with comfy bed.

The rooms are spacious, but 'bare bones' - do not expect even basics such as a kettle for hot water. The WiFi was also patchy, and broke several times. But the comfort of the room made up for these niggles.
Good location (right in front of the New Ferry Terminal) for trips to Nida. The hotel staff was friendly and resolved an error that was caused by faulty communication by Booking.com to the Hotel (i.e., despite having booked two rooms, Booking.com informed the hotel that I needed an exta bed that would have cost us 25Euros extra per might). The rooms are spacious, but 'bare bones' - do not expect anything extra.

The hotel is very close to the ferry on which you can easily get to the beach. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly.

Stayed in few rooms, single beds could use bit of a refresh, but still was comfy.
Excellent location, very close to the fery! Price was amazing as we booked last minute. Superb breakfast.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We needed to overnight in Klaipeda after arriving by ferry and before onward travel the next day. This hotel was fabulous, better than our expectations. We had a light meal at the restaurant that evening, and the breakfast, the next morning was very good, with something for everyones taste. It was included in the tariff rate. The price we paid for the room was good. All, in all, a great hotel, which we would use again. Walkable distance from the DFDS Ferry departure / arrivals. Room was lovely, lounge was lovely. The Art Deco style skylight in the entrance hall was gorgeous. Good choice.

The only annoying thing was noise at night by railway wagons
Very good breakfast, big choice of meals. Pillows in the room were very small but as soon as we mentioned this at the reception, the room maid brought very convenient ones.

In the night, if the window are open noises from the harbour side, loads and offload trains.

Lobby bar is a bit expensive ,nothing more to add.
Excellent price and performance - the hotel is well maintained and clean, even though it has been open for a while. Rooms are clean and comfy. Location might be a bit far from the city center, but that wasn't a problem as we travelled by car. Anyway, there's loads of public transport options to move around. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, not too many options to pick from, but enough to get ready for the day. Super quick coffee machines ensured no queuing for coffee. Overall it was a great experience and the hotel definitely exceeded our expectations considering the price. Location right next to the port might be an issue for light sleepers, as some noise creeps through the windows, but the location itself is excellent if you're planning to use the ferries which are just 3mins away. The free parking is large and you'll always find a spot, unless there's a big event in the conference hall, which is temporary anyway :)

TVs require update - they are very old ones (no smart features) and super tiny
Great selection of breakfast choices. Super attentive receptionists. Quiet rooms on the 3rd floor.
