Perfecltly situated hotel with great view

    • Superior Twin Room with City View

Poorly soundproofed house. Furniture in the room quite dated. Rooms could do with a little redecorating.

Perfectly situated hotel above the medina, only a few minutes to walk to get there. Great view over Chefchaouen from the roof top and from the spacious room. Good breakfast in a nicely decorated room. Friendly staff. Parking only one minute away in a parking garage (60 MAD per day).

The hotel is well located, there is a parking garage opposite. The staff is very nice and helpful!!! The rooftop terrace offers a great view over the city. The breakfast is good. We felt very comfortable and would come back again.

Our stay was only for 1 night but everything was nice. The hotel is reachable by car, the taxi from the bus station costs only 30 dhr (you don't wanna carry your luggage up and down through the Medina with the heat, believe me). The guys at the hotel were great and helpful. Thank you, all the best!

The breakfast was amazing - really delicious! We weren't able to take advantage of the various program / class / group offerings but really wished we could have to meet more people. We liked how we could get dropped off directly in front of the hotel and not have to walk up any stairs or through a long winding path to get there. The rooms were simple and still had everything we needed. The staff was really helpful and welcoming, giving us ideas and advice on a number of questions we tourists had.

Excellent location, just right outside of the medina accessible by cab (about 20 - 30 MAD from the bus station; 10 min. away). The medina is just a short walk away. Don't underestimate the distance and step incline that you'll have to climb if the Riad is deep in the medina. There are two quick marts right across the street to get drinks and snacks. Our host, Nour, speaks excellent English and is very helpful. Room is basic, but clean and comfortable. Hotel has a nice roof top view. Breakfast is good. I'd stay again at Hotel Alkhalifa.

It has been a lovely place. the view from the room in the terrace was wonderful .The host were lovely and really helpful. We would be back and definetely recommend it. The location is lovely, especially when you arrive with the car. You park 100 meters in the secure parking and you walk through the Medina.

Nothing. We really liked this hotel.

What a fantastic place! The owner made us feel very at home and allowed us to park our motorbikes in his private driveway. Hotel is a short (hilly) walk down into the main town and a long (hilly) walk back! The room was more than adequate and comfortable and quiet. The owner told us of places to visit and was very informative. They run yoga and medication type classes as well. Breakfast was brilliant and more than adequate. We wanted to leave a tip but the owner asked us to donate it to his cat charity instead, which we also topped up with some shop bought cat food from across the road! Fear not, we didn't see any cats in the hotel.

My shower was clogged. It will be addressed though. The doors aren't well insulated. You can hear almost everything in the hallway. But the kind of client that stays hear is respectful with the noise. It wasn't much of an issue.

It's set just outside the Medina so a little more quiet. You have nice views of the hills and the town from the rooftop. The bed is the commies I've had in Morroco so far. The room is larger than most rooms. The breakfast is great and the hospitality is amazing!

    Nothing to report

this is my 3rd visit to chefchaoue and i have always chosen the wrong guest house/riad, however this one is the best. I chose this hotel after reading the comments and the notes, and I was not disappointed. 1- the location of the hotel: the best location if you dont want to struggle with parking your car (parking is less than a minute walk and between 20 dh and 30dh for 24 hours) and not be lost in the alleyways of the mdeina with your luggage. the hotel is 5min walk from the place RAS EL MAA WATERFALL and then you find yourself in the beautiful alleyways of the blue perl the location: 10/10 3- the room: we opted for a quadriple room, it was super clean, very bright, conformtable, with air conditioning and a magnificent view. the hotel also has a panoramic terrace where you can be served a glass of tea to enjoy the sunset (offered by the hotel) room : 10/10 - breakfast: typical purely Moroccan all family members loved it 4- the service: I can't express how kind and hospitable Mr Nourddine is, he always asks if we need anything if everything is OK for us, he even offered us a souvenir on our departure. service : 10/10 it was a really wonderful stay

    Nothing, everything was great

Lovely hotel with stunning views across the city. Easy to access the medina but nice and quiet up here. Close to the start of the path for the Spanish mosque and to the parking for taxi services. The owner is lovely, very friendly and happy to help with anything from getting laundry done to recommendations of places to eat. We will come back next time we’re in Chefchaouen!

The bed mattress was really hard (as in all the Riads and Hotels I've been in Morocco... guess it's a trend there)

This Hotel is great! A perfect place to stay and explore the blue city of Chefchaouen. It's located outside of the Medina, but really close to the entrance and just a 5 to 10 min walk from the center. There's a nice car park just 150m from the hotel and that's really good (believe me, you don't want to carry your luggage through that blue maze of streets). The rooms are very comfortable and fully equipped, with a private shower and WC. Fast internet available (a router in every floor) and a excellent breakfast included. The staff is great, gave us lots of useful tips about the city, places to see and things to do. Don't forget to check the terrace during sunset - incredible!
