Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very friendly and helpful, he arranged a great tour and the tour guide Achmed was great. The food was great too and even though our cook was sick she still prepared a meal for us.

FranceSo much to say. Riad Attajali is wonderful. The room is great. The terrace with a view of the Medina is a place where we like to stay. The manager is very friendly. 15 minutes from Bab Boujloud, we are in the Medina. The service is impeccable. The lamb tagine is excellent. Finally, the best for last. Hamza is a friendly, welcoming boy. He is ready to be of service. Hamza is an essential asset to this Riad. I will keep delicious memories of him. He became a Moroccan friend.

GermanyNot a criticism, but be aware that this is an old building and the stairs are narrow and steep.
We stayed for 4 nights. As it was January we had a little electroc heater in our room, that was quite warm and cosy. The house is in a side alley, but very close to one of the main routes in the medina. It was also very quiet. There is a great rooftop terrace that gives a view over much of the old town. We had breakfast every day and enjoyed it and also had dinner twice. For getting from and to the train station the staff arranged a transfer by taxi and then a porter with a handcart for our luggage.

United StatesCan't think of anything.
Staff were excellent. They arranged a English speaking guide for me and guide was excellent as well. For first time travelers staying in the Medina, get a guide for half a day. They show you all main parts of the Medina without getting lost, getting lost is part of the experience but to get most out your time. This isn't about Dar Attajalli itself but the experience of staying in the Medina. Due the Median having very narrow streets, cars can't drive to the Riad directly. Taxi takes you as close as possible to the Riad, from there a Porter in a buggy with take you and your luggage to the Riad. Since I had just arrived in Morocco, I didn't have small change, the staff paid the Porter and upon leaving when I tried to pay back, the staff didn't accept the fee for the Porter. United KingdomThe traditional decor and setting of the whole place takes you back in time. Absolutely beautiful. We stayed for a long weekend with our 2 children aged 4 and 7. Yusuf was very helpful and a great host. The medina is like a maze, so I would definitely recommend a guide! There is plenty to do and see around the area. Perfect for a few days away. Thank you for the great hospitality Yusuf. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to see you again in the future.

United StatesSince the Riad is inside the Medina we had a cab driver drop us off in a parking lot and hire a bag porter to take our bags to the Riad. Our room was on the top floor with a view to the mountains and a beautiful roof top however, if you have a heart conditions, knee problems, climbing stairs, etc. you should not stay in this room there are no elevators and the steps going up are irregular. Would suggest ground or 1st floor.
Staff was kind specially Abdul, he made sure that we had everything we needed and our stay was comfortable. Is Inside the Medina, room was spacious and clean. The view from our room was beautiful. Nice place to stay.

GermanyThey didn't believe that I already paid online by booking.com for the rooms. After having shown several proofs that I paid and they have had double checked, they finally agreed. So maybe it is some good advice to be aware of your payment status, although they told me that this happened to them for the first time. Normally the guests are mistaken and the hotel is right...?!

ItalyThe breakfast room is a little cold and quiet even in the springtime and you can hear every sound coming from the room on the ground floor while you're having breakfast which could be a little awkward.
We very much enjoyed the beautiful room, the terrace, breakfast and the easygoing kindness of the staff. The terrace in particular is an oasis of calm, where you can breathe in the ambiance of the medina while enjoying the fresh breeze and sound of birds chirping. The location is perfect in the heart of the medina off the main streets. The staff were very kind and ready to help with anything we needed, giving suggestions but without pressuring to book using their services. Pick up at the entrance to the medina by the porter sent by the riad (Hassan) was not absolutely necessary but it was nice to have help with even the couple of bags we had and certainly appreciated on the way back home with the extra weight! Would definitely recommend (and return!).

The 2 guys responsible went above expectations and helped a lot as we were sick for a day. Every little detail was well taken care of - from the constant Moroccan tea on the house to the great quality of the amenities in the rooms and amazing self-written guide of the city and tours offered. The restaurant and cook are fabulous with clear emphasis on good quality sustainable products. Best breakfast in Morocco we've had! And not to forget - the cozy terrace, where actually dinner is served, unfortunately couldn't experience it due to the weather
