We have no words to describe how amazing and comfortable our stay was in this place. Fatiha and Tareq are real tourism people, they know what they are doing and they know the ideal definition of hospitality. We cant thank them enough for going above and beyond to make our stay so special. The place is super clean, super comfortable and super quiet. The rooms are very unique and charming, bed is very comfortable. Location is also good. For those who complained about the location, most Dars and Riads are the same inside the old cuty and believe me this place is way better than most of the places in the same area. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique authentic Moroccan stay.

Dar Zen is a hidden gem in the middle of the Medina. it is a very peaceful space with only 3 rooms to book so a maximum of 6 guests with a small pool perfect for a cool plunge to escape the heat. The hotel owner Tarik welcomed us with open arms and allowed us to stay later than our check out to enjoy the pool. All the rooms are styled in tradition Moroccan decor which added to the beauty of the place

Comfortable room with everything we needed. Tarik was a superb host. He went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. He arranged everything we needed, even offering us the loan of his umbrella. And he provided a delicious breakfast. I can’t say enough about Tarik - he gets 5 stars!

The only ‘negative’ aspect of the propriety is that, In our room, there was only the bath tube without a separate shower

The property was very clean and traditional which created a great experience for us. Amazing location in the heart of Medina and great pool and terrace. This Dat is well located in the Medina and, once you know the way, easy to find. The ceiling of our room was amazing.

should mention that it’s inside the old market , you should park outside if you come with own car, don’t bring big suitcases, because you have to drag it all way into the market.

over all the experience was amazing, the details of the place, clean, calm, so cosy and touchable.. took my heart. I can stay all the day with my book.

property is beautiful and calm - 120 year old Riad recently renovated. it has 3 bedrooms plus a nice terrace and patio with a plunge pool which was cold but refreshing it is spotlessly clean, the bed was big and comfy and it was quiet at night. bathroom was stylish and well equipped with lots of towels and bath robes which was a nice touch Tarik is the best host - very friendly, helpful, makes a nice breakfast! He even walked to the main road out of the Medina to meet me when I left my laptop in the bedroom - very kind of him located in the old medina - close to the shopping streets and with lots around within walking distance

Minor things…some touch up paint needed, squeaky doors, etc. Nothing that would stop us from staying again!

Staff was wonderful and very accommodating, they answered all our questions and gave great advice and went out of their way to help with any request. The breakfast was delicious every day and room size was great (had a living room with couch and TV and a private little balcony). So nice to have a quiet place to get away from the hectic medina.

the location is pretty deep into the Medina with no access by car. the staff was nice enough to come help us with our luggage from our car

The place is a beautiful quiet oasis in the middle of Rabats busy medina. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Tarik was an incredible host, very polite and helpful. He gave us great recomendations on where to eat. Breakfast was very good aswell. Having a small pool to cool of is a luxury in Rabats summer heat. Our stay there was excellent. We will come back

Is situated in a no car zone so requires 5 minutes walk from the main gates. Not a bad thing, but certainly should be considered.

Great Riad, really good modern and sleek space. Good vibes always come down to the host, Tarik made the place really feel like home, a 3 day trip felt like a month. The breakfast on the first day was so good - morrocan pancakes, that i told him to do the same everday. His local knowledge and advice made getting around town very easy.
