Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

This is a small place where the exceptional welcome is entirely genuine. I’m sure that there’s nothing the small staff would not have done to help us. We felt comfortable and at home and enjoyed being among other families as well as couples. The breakfast was the best we have had in Morocco and dinner by the pool was also excellent.

United KingdomEarly morning call to prayer during Ramadan, the Riad is near to a mosque. Although not everyone woke up, so maybe it's not that bad.
Excellent hosts who make you feel at home, convenient location for airport, nice swimming pool and great food for dinner (highly recommended) and breakfast

United KingdomThese are minor things: a) One of the room was a bit darker (the ones facing the entrance of the riad). We understand that’s probably the lighting in some riads for the ambience but may be a brighter lamp or something would make it easier to arrange/pack things etc. b) Could not find the pickup driver upon arrival and had to call after waiting for some time. Would have appreciated if there was someone there already. c) Found the lunch a bit less in terms of quantity. But that could be just us or how it’s usually done during Ramadan. But again, the food quality was excellent.
Pretty much everything. Superb ambiance by the pool. Great breakfast with high quality stuffs. Dinner was exceptional. Chicken tajine was so good! Found it better than Douriya in the city. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Very friendly people running the place. Always prompt and catered to all we need. Also, just 2 days was sufficient for them to be friends with our 18m daughter. Morocco seems very fond of babies, which is lovable! A bit far from the city but we could walk all the way to the Kasbah and city centre. Very close to the airport, and has a nice terrace view of the city.

GermanyJust a perfect place to be! One cannot feel more at home. It has only a few rooms, so it is very familiar, and they have been able to create an atmosphere of silence which is so amazing! No noisy things happening there, guests chatting decently, just light background music at the pool and sometimes the sound of the water in the pool. What a treat! The staff you meet are two overwhelmingly friendly young lads who act like good spirits, they appear whenever you need them. Dinner was fantastic, breakfeast is lovely and varies a bit from day to day. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with cosy corners to sit and relax. All in all just bliss!

United KingdomI liked everything and given that RyanAir now fly from London to Ouarzazate twice a week I might even go back! Ouarzazate is an easily manageable town. I would say though that you would benefit from a car as it is about 2km into Ouarzazate centre. We had a hire car and parked it directly outside the riad on the road, no problems at all. The area around is quiet and upmarket residential with very little traffic.
Charming and comfortable accommodation with wonderful customer service. We were treated so well. Lovely spacious room, very nice pool area with tables and loungers for relaxing or taking your breakfast, a separate rooftop terrace, and an indoor dining area where we enjoyed a delicious three course evening meal. The bathroom was one of the best that we encountered in our trip through Morocco. The riad is close to the airport but though we were there two nights we didn't here a single plane. For added excitement, you could go to the roof terrace and watch the odd plane take off or land, but I didn't get a chance.

FranceLe petit riad is very close to the airport and therefore the perfect location to start or end your holidays. But it's definitely worth more than a stopover. Despite the proximity to the airport the Riad is calm and cozy, and Fatima and her lovely team are super helpful and adorable, the food is great ( also excellent vegetarian options). A perfect place to spend a couple of days to discover Ouarzazate and the region.

We have stayed in many riads in Morocco and this is one of the most beautiful. The location was ideal for our stopover between Merzouga and Marrakech. The staff were very helpful and kind and we had an excellent dinner. Having learned that Ryanair flies to Ouarzazate, we would be very happy to stay again for a long weekend.

CanadaLoved everything!
Upon entering we were greeted by our warm, welcoming host Karim. The Moroccan decor in the dining room is elegant and tasteful! Each bedroom room has its own unique decor with different vibrant colours and lovely furnishings! As we were among the first to arrive our host let us choose the room we preferred! Each room was so beautiful it was hard to decide! Upon arrival we were served tea while as our bags were brought in. The entire place is gorgeous and I would highly recommend staying here! We had made plans to eat dinner at the riad and the food was fantastic! We greatly enjoyed the ambiance, the food & the service! Breakfast was included & it was lovely as well! Our hosts Lahcen & Karim were so friendly, accommodating & helpful we really felt at home! Again, I highly recommend this place! We truly wish we could stay longer! Danielle Johnston

Wow! Wow! We weren’t planning on staying in Ouarzazate but decided to at the last minute. So glad we did, because Le Petit Riad is a gem. Excellent service and the food is truly stellar. We stayed at small riads across Morocco for three weeks and I have to say that this was among or perhaps the best food we had in all of Morocco. Absolutely book here if you get a chance!

United KingdomThe Riad was a bit far from the centre of Ouarzazate (you have to take a taxi) but it is to be expected as the Riad was very spacious with its own pool and lounge area.
The service at Le Petit Riad Maison d'hotes was impeccable; friendly, attentive but not too overbearing. Karim and Lassin (apologies for the spelling!) were great and when my husband was ill they even offered to help us go to the pharmacy. The food at Le Petit Riad Maison d'hotes was also incredible - we had dinner twice and they were some of the best food I had in morocco and the price was very very reasonable for a 3 course meal one of which was veal shank tagine (15 euro)
