Our daughter’s bed was missing

The riad is located steps away from the Bab Menzeh entrance to the Medina, with a parking just in front of the entrance itself and the sea at a stone’s throw (either the ocean and the bay). We had a fantastic large room at the first floor (even though we had to remember the concierge that we booked the room for three, and our daughter’s bed was missing). Extremely nice traditional furnishing, and a very large and modern bathroom with a giant marble bath tub. The hotel has as well a reastaurant by its side. There, is where you get the breakfast, very nice.

Initially I got a black and red room and didn’t like the darkness of the room. I asked the lady to change. I got a red and grey room which was better but there was no window to get sunlight.

It was a beautiful decorated riad and the receptionist was soooo lovely. I loved the giant bath tub and 60 min of foot massage. The room was so spacious and the decorations of the tiles were breathtaking.

Nothing we didn’t like! The breakfast was huge and always served with a smile. Same thing everyday though which got a little boring after 4 days.

This is probably the best Riad in Essaouira. Perfect location, just inside the median wall so quick walk to the beach but also quick walk into the hustle of the medina. It’s located just off a main walkway but down a slightly quieter street so feels really safe and secure. I’d highly recommend the Hamam at Mumtaz Mahal even if you don’t get a chance to stay.

This is I believe my 4th time at this property. it’s beautiful and the staff are great. The young lady at the reception is absolutely amazing, she makes sure everything is fine for the guest.

A stunning Riad! We were trying to work out how to stay forever in our magnificent palace. All the staff were friendly, attentive and professional. The breakfast was great and the location unbeatable. Our room was enormous and comfortable and spectacular. Luckily Essaouira was amazing enough to entice us out of our room to explore :)

lovely ornate decor in great location in the medina (but close to gates for taxi!). plenty of restaurants within minutes. we received a warm welcome with drink and breakfasts in the central courtyard which was very relaxing. the bedroom was large with a comfortable bed and good WiFi. breakfast very nice on the roof terrace.

The hotel was beautiful- you get your own beautiful suite with big bathroom and huge bath! The reception staff were nice and the continental breakfast very nice! The location is perfect too, just on the outside of the souk walls, central but quiet (except the church bells)

Water in the shower and bath tub does not drain properly.Mind that the hotel only accepts cash.

This is the one of most beautiful hotel i have ever visit ! Is like a museum ! Rooms might be a little dark but i found this was part of the magic. Breakfast is good ,quite similar in fact as those you can have in whole Morocco.

We had to leave early in the morning because of our flight time change, we asked the girl at the reception to prepare the breakfast a bit earlier, however, the breakfast was not ready when we were at the table at the agreed time. The breakfast itself was delicious.

Fantastic rooms with wonderful decorations and carved ceilings, huge bath, superb bed, great location close to the city center and parking. Great price vs quality ratio.

Floor was slightly dusty and the description mentions a minibar and microwave - this is actually just in the apartments but is included in the description for the room when you book it.

The rooms were very large and luxurious! It was like staying in a palace. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty, the option to have this on the very big terrace was a plus. Great location, felt very safe.

Everything was great. I found the management very professional especially the young lady at the reception, she was very helpful. Also the riad is very central and the rooms are beautiful, breakfast was delicious.

The room looked absolutely amazing, it's so extremely beautiful. Also the staff was very helpful and friendly, you can decide where you want to eat your breakfast and you get an entire tray for yourself, rooms are cleaned daily. When you wanted to explore the city, the hotel is close to the city center and the beach and harbour, so you are there in no time. The stay was absolutely perfect.
