The rooms were a bit cold (but there was an air conditioner that helped make them warmer), and the tv channels were not always stable.

The place was beautiful, very close to the medina while providing parking, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Everytime we came back, they offered us hot drinks and pastries. Breakfast was delicious and very generous.

The hotel is slightly off the main road, but they soon informed us of the best way to get back to the main road. The city is very small and therefore we soon realised it was not far from the centre.

The place is lovely. And the people hosting are so welcoming. The breakfast was exceptional. No the usual European breakfast, it was the typical Moroccan breakfast with bread, cheese, olives, oil and amazing honey. Super tasty super lovely.

Just one point on the breakfast, we would prefer an option of fruit and yogurt, I know it's not very traditional but for tourists a lot of bread always in the mornings was a challenge for us!

Very helpful host, who provided us with a bunch of recommendations concerning the sights and restaurants in Chefchaouen. The room was very spacious (although the bathroom less so) and comfortable. The hotels offers an underground parking and is an excellent choice for travelers coming by car. While it is not located in the medina, it is close enough and a short walk will get you the the main attractions of the town.

The host, Aziz, and his staff were extremely accommodating and helpful, directions and restaurant recommendations, even offering to walk with us or to drive us to our destination in town. The rooms were a nice size, very clean and comfortable, and nicely appointed. Breakfast was delicious, with a selection of fruit, breads/rolls/crepes, jams, honey, yogurt, olives and eggs, and of course, coffee and mint tea. The Puerta Azul is located a 10-15 minute walk outside the medina with parking on premises. We had hesitated booking initially because of the location vs. other accommodations within the medina, but after reading the reviews, opted to stay, and were very happy with the choice. All in all a lovely stay. Thank you Aziz!!!

It was a little further away from the medina. If you follow Google map it will take even longer but there are shortcuts you can take that Google is not up to date with. Its also a bit further away from where all the restaurants are and the main streets.

It was clean and the room we booked was very large and comfortable. They had underground parking on location which was great because we did not have to worry about our rental.

Location is in not so busy area and the staff are so accommodating! We asked to extend until 1pm and they said yes! We had problem going back to hotel so we went past 2pm but there’s no problem with them. Staff are all smiling and helpful! Highly recommended!
