Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomEverything was perfect really. A minor drainage issue in a sink was resolved quickly. Some of the rooms have stairs internally, which may be an issue for some with walking problems. This was not an issue for us (even though we were with a toddler) but good to be aware of.
The Riad blends traditional and modern designs. It’s simply beautiful, with a bright courtyard and stylish rooms. The terrace is lovely too. Located inside the heart of the medina, with restaurants, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas within walking distance. The medina is not at all overwhelming (unlike other cities in Morocco, and it was clean too). We also walked to the Hassan tower which was 30mins away but it was a pleasant walk. Delicious breakfast; the items were broadly similar to what’s typically served in Morocco, except for Balboula soup which we liked. The quality of the ingredients were great! The staff - Abdul (from Togo) and the other Moroccan guy (forgot the name) - both were very polite and helpful. Just ask them what you need and they will cater happily. The shower was lovely, with great water pressure and bath products. The bed was very comfortable too, and the room was overall aesthetically lit up with beautiful lights.

BelarusNothing to mention
We absolutely admire this Riad. Starting from the fact the they allowed us to check in and have our room 2 hours earlier than the stated time. That was super hospitable for us after a long bus journey from Chaouen. Many thanks! The whole Riad and the room have very lovely, cozy interiors. With a big amount of small details. Everything is thought out for a comfortable stay. WiFi, heating, hot water - everything work working well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Answering all our questions. And of course I should mention the breakfast. It was delicious and varied. At the end of the holiday we didn’t want to leave this place ;)

CanadaThere is absolutely nothing not to love about this hotel.
The architecture, having two separate duplex rooms in the same suit, beautiful and very tasteful decorations. Amazing breakfast, the best coffee ever. Super helpful staff, Naima and Reza and the other lady. They even helped us with our laundry without charging us. Over all pne of my best hotel experiences ever.

CroatiaThe lack of electric outlets on the gallery - there was just one on one side of the bed.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Riad in the heart of Rabat's Medina (Old Town). It is a well kept place with very polite and welcoming staff. The room was great, with the bed on the gallery. The space of this long and narrow rooms is well thought out and used, and the details like brass chandelliers are a nice touch.

United StatesThe riad is beautifully updated but has retained the traditional Moroccan charm. Delicious breakfast and super friendly staff. Location in the medina is perfect and an easy to walk to the corniche, kasbah and beach. We loved how laid-back and walk-friendly Rabat is. A great city to explore with kids.

United KingdomBreakfast was excellent, but unchanging through the four days of our stay.
Superb location just off one of the lively main streets, 20 mins walk from Rabat Ville station. Beautiful styling in appealing colours, with an attractive rooftop terrace, a delight to relax on even in winter. The two-level rooms are spotless and simply but comfortably furnished. Staff were hospitable and professional throughout.

United StatesOur room -- the family suite -- was cleverly designed and beautifully appointed, but very tight. Would have been perilous with a toddler. Somewhat challenging to park and find our way to it, but worked in the end with some direction from the hotel and would be easy to repeat now that we're familiar with the logistics.
Exquisitely, thoughtfully restored and designed Riad with very warm staff and exceptionally good breakfast (among our favorites in Morocco). Excellent value and nice location on a quieter dead end in the central medina. Would be thrilled to return to Riad Amina on our return to Rabat, and heartily recommend it to all.

SwitzerlandThe only thing that might bother someone: the mattress was on the hard side. But I didn't mind because I like it that way. I slept really well.
It was just perfect. Easy to find in the Medina, the most attentive and kind staff, as well as delicious breakfast. The room (we were in the family suite), was well equipped, I was happy to see that the bathroom was well lit. The room also had a big mirror, always a plus. Would definitely come back if again in Rabat!
