A few minor repairs were required in the room (eg broken shower) but we accepted that this wasn't a high-end hotel so it didn't bother us too much.

Very large rooms and authentic riad. Shabby chic shall we say but lovely nonetheless. Very attentive staff who helped out with our vegan breakfast requirements. A great budget riad.

Some rooms were quite moist and had bad smell, but the staff gladly changed us the room as I have allergy.

Riad is in the heart of Medina, with short walk from the sea and all restaurants, shops. The rooms are big, quiet and clean with comfortable, hard beds, wardrobe and sofa. Very friendly staff - helped us with many things and gave great suggestions for Essaouira. We booked Riad Chakir Mogador for 3 nights and then stayed additional 2 - 5 nights in total.

Everything was perfect

Very nice place in the heart of Essaouira in a Strategic location that is only 300 metres from the car park. This cannot be underestimated as no cars are allowed in this fantastic old city surrounded by walls. We booked 2 rooms and both were very comfortable. Staff was excellent and friendly and the manager was superb in making any effort to meet our needs and succeeding in it. She gets 10 out of 10. Everything was perfect and nothing was missing. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. You get everything, typical moroccan foods and traditional continental ones. If you need something else just ask. Our experience was excellent in this riad.

Very nice, welcoming and helpful personel. There's always someone there at reception. Beautiful building, colourful and very clean. Breakfast is quite simple with good coffee or tea but you can ask for more. Good location in medina.

Bathroom was rather small and the floor got very wet. It would have been good to have something to wipe the floor with and a place to hang up towels.

The staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was prepared to order. Nothing was too much trouble.

This Riad reminded us that traveling is not only about visiting places but also about meeting people - we were welcomed very kindly and looked after by an amazing staff! Riad located inside Medina, easy access from the main road and close to the beach. Spacious parking by the entrance of the Medina. The place is nice, clean and the internet connection is good.

We didn't get a proper welcome unfortunately. No proper hello, didn't converse with us, didn't offer a drink upon arrival, didn't get a tour of the riad and its facilities. He wasn't rude, just uninterested. Later on, we got treated better and friendlier. Breakfast was meager, and the dining rooms were soo cold. No heating, airconditioning or blankets. Also rooftop needs improvement and maintenance, it looks dirty and deserted

The value for money is unfair. It's a bit expensive considering the amenities, and the breakfast doesn't match the prices/rates.

The facilities are outdated, especially bathroom bothered us. And the breakfast, as in orher riads, nothing to do with continental - just 3 types of bread and butter with honey. Staying in Riad has its charm however is tricky as there is no space for privacy (everyone hears everything from every toom and bathroom)

It is huge and old riad, very beautiful from inside, quite a lot of place for lounging while the rooms are very small. Staff is very friendly and helpful and it is very centrally located, nevertheless very calm and quiet.

Small rooms, need fresh air in the room. Room without windows to outside. Breakfast so pure. Just bread, honey, marmelade and coffe or juice. The bed is small and the pillows like a stones 😊🙈 For this price not come back.
