Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNot specific to this riad, but the entrance to riad Farah and a few other riads and houses is a little dirty with too many stray cats, some rubbish and smell of cat urine.
Amazing 3 nights stay in the old Medina, location was very close to the Blue gate and the Medina and yet felt secluded and away from the noise. The girls who run the Riad are both very friendly and helpful and took great care of us, including packing us a breakfast when we had an early morning start for a day trip. The riad was nice, clean and comfortable and breakfast on the terrace was amazing too. Highly recommend!

AustraliaObviously, being in the centre of the Medina, there is going to be quite a bit of noise from the street.
Wonderful welcome from Shoukaina, a lovely young lady. Great service from Mohammed and also a friendly encounter with Hind. These young people know how to make you feel welcome. The Riad was enchanting, and our room was comfortable. Very good location, right in the Medina. Good facilities, including washing service. Generous breakfast.

PortugalNo complaints
We really enjoyed our stay at this riad, from the mint tea welcome, to the point that we left the following morning. The central courtyard was lovely and the rooms were nicely decorated. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace, where we ate a delicious dinner. The staff were great, with a special mention for Sukina, the night manager, who was delightful. The location was great, inside the old medina. As expected, there can be no on-site parking inside the medina, so we parked in a car park outside the wall and had a carossa transport our luggage to the riad.

SingaporeLoved this adorable riad so much. Cozy room for 2, really friendly and amazing staff, located in a really touristy part of the medina but a close walk to the blue gate and couple of really good casual Moroccon restaurants down the road - Chez rachid and the ones neighbouring it!

UruguayAfter we did a deep research about the places to stay (as in Marrakech, we had a bad experience), we decided for this one. The employees are super friendly and funny, like natural hospitality charm people. The terrace is amazing, with a beautiful decoration and view over the city. I totally recommend this place! You will love it ! And thanks for the staff to make us feel so welcoming :)

SwedenThis riad is worth to take 11/10 just because of the girls working in the reception and its service. Beautiful riad, clean and with nice decorated room. The girl in the reception who welcomed us the first day, gave us some delicious mint tea and some important information and was so kind! They even prepared us some packed breakfast the check out day because we had to leave early, which we really appreciated.

GermanyThere was literally nothing that could have made my stay any better.
I really enjoyed my stay with the friendly people at Riad Farah. The support was wonderful from start to finish and made it much easier to find your way around the busy medina. I felt very welcome and would like to thank all the good people there for the pleasant stay. In addition to the welcome tea, I also enjoyed the delicious dinner of traditional Moroccan cuisine. We particularly enjoyed breakfast on the roof terrace with the wonderful panoramic view. The central location in the medina meant that after a few days you felt a bit part of this historic old town of Fez. Nevertheless, it is not far to the Blue Gate, where you can start the transfer to the airport, for example. If I were to visit Fez again, Riad Farah would again be my first choice. And maybe, dear Ahmad, I'll get the opportunity to learn how to properly prepare Moroccan tea.

United StatesThe staff was so kind and welcoming and really made us feel at home! It was our first time in Fes, so we were unsure what to expect and after a long day of travel it was a great way to start our stay! The breakfast was AMAZING and the rooms were gorgeous. They helped us arrange taxis and a guided tour of the Medina, and our tour guide Omar was so knowledgeable and showed us so many hidden gems. If you are going I would definitely recommend doing a tour of the Medina as it is easy to get lost, and ask for Omar! We had such a great time and would absolutely stay here again!

GermanyThe Riad is beautifull and located in the middle of the Medina. The room (Merzouga) was a little bit small and other rooms we're better but WE we're there only to sleep so that didnt matter. The Breakfast is really good and served on the rooftop. The staff is super helpfull and gives you a warm welcome.

CanadaIt could be a bit noisy at night, but settled down after 11pm and was quiet until mid-morning. Locals smoke in the pathway just past the Riad door, and the smell comes in through the open windows of the Riad. Thankfully, it doesn't reach must past the stairwell.
We stayed in two different rooms during our stay, and both were nicely appointed. The beds were comfortable, and the water pressure of the showers was good. The staff were beyond wonderful! Breakfast each morning was delicious. The location was great. Close to everything, and great views of Fes from the terrace.

UruguayThe only small thing that bothered me about this property was their resistance to accept room payment by credit card. The Booking site indicates that they take visa and, in addition, I had sent a note specifically asking if I could pay by card to which they responded that I could for an additional 5 percent. However, during our stay they really pressured me to pay in cash.

RussiaWe've had the "Marrakech" room, and you should be warned that it is situated on the first floor with windows opening directly to the inside court. It's not really an issue, though
Pleasant hotel with kind and helpful staff. Location is very convenient, in the medina, yet in a relatively calm part of it, close to the direct road to nouvelle ville and with parking within easy reach. Breakfasts on the rooftop are lovely.
