The hotel itself was very nice. Comfortable bed. The bar in the basement was lame. Ashley got all mouthy with my husband who did absolutely nothing. We will NEVER go back there. I even left her a good tip. Lame

The pillows on the king bed are obnoxiously small. Only four small pillows on that huge bed. Asked front desk for more but they questioned why I needed more. They had no keys to housekeeping rooms. They gave me a therapeutic pillow. It's the only extra pillows they had.

Loved the charm of the room. Very cozy.

Didn't like key cards.They worked well with back entrance but I ended with three cards to room had to have night manager go up once with new card to get in . Didn't like there was no complimentry water in room for the price of room. I got to hotel late so I used vending machine but was $3 .So I went out that night and pickup water for my room cause there was none in vending machine. No note pad to write on either. Also parking lot card entrance very annoying cause card only worked half the time parked on street a few times. After second night gate was kept open. Although I wasn't in room long except at night not a lot of selection on TV and no music channels which I would have perferred. Mininum contact with staff and I found not too friendly , but helpful otherwise.

I loved location cause it was downtown close to museums, few resteruants , courthouse and parks. Used to live in Warren in the building on corner by hotel so that was cool. Parking was in back or paralleral parking on street. Room was very comfotable and huge with nice king bed, sheets were nice. Refrig, microwave, desk , Tv , AC and Ice machine all in good working order. Hotel has a breakfast area downstairs opened @0630. .Light breakfast offered, petite omelettes, sausage, fruit , yogurt , pasteries, bagels, juices milk, coffee , pancake machine. It was enough to start the day for me. There was small gathering area to talk, play games etc in back lobby area. Card exit from back lot for security, open door in front with cart for luggage, I was grafeful for elevator.Also vending machine with snacks and soda machine on the expensive side . I opt to buy while I was out and kept in fridge. Also excersise room with standard equipment ,but I was running so much wasn't able to take advantage. Would I stay again absolutely if I ever go back.There for class reunion stayed four days.

Every time we entered the parking lot we had to pay $3 and use our door card to enter. If we entered the parking lot 6 times, then it was $3 each time. That's ridiculous. It should have been free parking.

The room was surprisingly small; the sheets had stains not unhealthy stains - just ugly ones that were unsettling. The water pressure was so low it was hard to wash my hair. Most of all, being older, having the elevators not work for a day was a major pain. All we had for breakfast was cereal and bananas, and the bananas were rotten at the bottom. Kinda wasn't worth the walk back up the stairs since, again, the elevators were broken. Now, to be fair, it's an older hotel, so there is a reason for the small rooms, I guess. And the rotten bananas and and broken elevator - things happen.

The quiet, the location and the downstairs bar/restaurant were noteworthy. The food and the staff of the restaurant/bar were EXcellent! My fried fish was delicious - more fish than breading - when does THAT happen? My husband's sausage burger was so savory. Most of all the service was superb. We actually went back at midnight to have late night wings. They were delicious AND the homemade blue cheese dressing was superb.
