Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThere was nothing we didn't like but two small things - a shower curtain or screen would be good because I flooded the bathroom floor every time I had a shower, and while the breakfasts were great, when staying for more than three or four nights, it would be good to have a change. Perhaps something savioury like eggs etc. Very small details though, certainly didn't take away from the whole amazing experienc.
Amazing property. It looks just like in the photos. The swimming pool was a beautiful area to sit and relax. The staff were all amazing - not only helpful but so friendly. We loved it so much we were booked into another riad for our last three nights but we cancelled and stayed the extra three nights at Norma.

United StatesWe loved everything.
Loved the location just inside the Medina. Made it easy to load and unload luggage yet still be in easy walking distance of all the interesting parts of the Medina. The riad was charming and Monique and her staff were extremely welcoming. The rooms were large and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. Great spot!

EstoniaNothing really that we didn't like.
There really isn't anything bad to say about Riad Norma, we really enjoyed the whole stay and everything that came with it. The breakfast was delicious, healthy and the perfect amount to get our day going. It consisted of both sweet and savoury options. The rooms are clean, and beautifully designed. The host, Monique, and the staff are fantastic, and make sure you have a wonderful stay. The location is not so central, but we found it to be a good thing. About a 15 minute walk to the hustle and bustle region of the medina from the riad, is a perfect way to explore and experience the fabulous old city of Fes. Well done Riad Norma, and thank you again for having us in your lovely home!

United KingdomSlightly far from the main action for going out in the evening after a days touring but it did mean we did our steps!!
Very pretty property with large comfortable rooms and big bathrooms. Lovely garden , small pool area for the hotter months. Liked the breakfast, cheese and yoghurt with fruit as well as the usual sweet options. Very nice staff particularly sweet were the breakfast ladies. Liked the location as easy to get to the gate which as we had to leave at 3.30 in the morning to catch a plane was very useful.

United KingdomWell you could say the shower is not good for standing under, but it’s a hand shower for hair washing in the bath; and the bath is great. And they don’t do dinner, but there’s a helpful list of restaurants within 5-20 minutes walk. We tried 2 of the more expensive ones and they were great.
I don’t think there’s much more you could want. It’s a charming, relaxing environment; beautiful Moroccan decor, a real escape from the hustle of the medina. Very welcoming, friendly staff. We stayed in the Tosca suite; a huge, really comfy room. It’s on the edge of the medina, so generally quieter, but only about 20 minutes walk to the centre.

United Arab EmiratesThe staircase goes up and up and then some more! Possibly good for the heart.
Location near Bab Ziat is very convenient to get transport. Quiet locality about 10 minutes walk from central medina. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful heritage property with a pretty garden. Excellent breakfast among the best we had in Morocco. Fireplace at night. The list could go on. Noman, the manager got breakfast ready for us at 7 am and then helped us with our bags to the taxi. Exceptional service it is.

United StatesIt is a good 15 minute walk from most of the restaurants and action. For us that was a negative but could be perfect if you want a lovely , quiet escape!
Beautiful Riad with stunning outdoor space and rooftop deck. It was like an Oasis! Rooms were beautifully appointed. The staff were incredibly kind as was the owner. Because the owner is French you could order wine and beer. The Riad is perfect for escaping and relaxing in!

CanadaThere wasn't really a shower option that we wanted to use. It wasn't really an issue as baths can be nice too but we couldn't figure out a way to shower without soaking the entire bathroom.
The location was great. Very close to a gate (bab) which makes it easy to find and get back to. We had the largest room and it was beautiful. The garden and pool were beautiful and very comfortable to sit in. The staff and owner were helpful and friendly.

The manager Younes was exceptional throughout our stay in accommodating our needs. The whole staff made sure we had everything we needed. United StatesEverything was superb.
Riad Norma is a GORGEOUS property with beautiful seating areas including a garden and pool for nice days and a warm and cozy fireplace for cools days. The courtyard is also beautiful. The rooms are well equipped with well maintained traditional furniture and decor. I felt as if I was royalty stepping back in time to live like a king and queen in our palace. The level of service and attention to detail by Younes and the entire staff feels like being pampered and attended to at all times. Yet, there was plenty of privacy whenever we wanted. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruits, fresh squeezed juices, fresh cheeses, and filling to last us the day. The Riad is close to the Ziat gate, making it very easy to get a red cab. Riad Norma will be my first choice the next time I am in Fez.
