Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Everything! Walking distance to the Medina. The riad was beautiful, clean and the staff were so amazing! We cannot thank Fatima and the team enough for all their kindness, attention and care during our 5 days stay. You wont regret experiencing this Riad! Oh, and the hammam and the massage? Just amazing!

Everything was perfect, Fatima and Karim went out of their way to make sure our staying was amazing! The room was really spacious, and the bathroom with the bathtub and the bidet (really like home!). We had dinner in the riad one night and the food was delicious, as well as the breakfast! We will definitely be back in this riad ❤️

AustraliaThe host was difficult to communicate with prior to arrival. The wifi is erratic in the room but fine in the courtyard if really needed. The Ambre room faces the laneway and can be noisy from passing pedestrians and motorbikes. We closed the windows and put the airconditioning on and this helped with the noise. You can request a room that faces inwards to the courtyard, this would be quieter.
The property is close to the entry of the Medina. The riad has a lovely central courtyard with fountain, comfortable seating and dining tables. Our room (Ambre) was large and comfortable. The whole riad is very clean. The bed is big and comfy. I had a massage which was reasonably priced and so convenient inside the riad - very relaxing and professional. Breakfast is plentiful and freshly cooked. Dinner is on request and was also plentiful and delicious. The staff are friendly and kind. I would highly recommend staying at Riad Zamane. * note - payment is only by cash*

GreeceThe breakfast was a bit poor with very limited options. The time for serving dinner very limited . It would be nice to seat at the terrace and have a drink or coffee but not such an option. It’s a pity
Almost everything The Riad is very beautiful in perfect location next to the Medina. There is super roof top terrace. Very clean And the staff nice and polite . The Riad is easy to reach even though it’s next to Medina and parking is next to it. The staff will help you with it.

HungaryThere has been difficulties with paying by card so better to arrive with enough cash or paypal. The only disadvantage is the hammam, which is under the level of the riad itself.
A quite small motel with 6 rooms only and just 2 min walk from the famous Blue Gate. Amazing building, great atmosphere, the blue and pinkish rooms are faboulous. Traditional decoration and service, good massage. Great staff on reception, housekeeping and kitchen as well. Everyone is so friendly and the guest is in the focus. Breakfast ceremony takes an hour at least, but you can spend the whole day sitting in the lobby or on the rooftop terrace, drinking traditional coffee and tea. Having delicious and fresh traditional food you would not find a better place in the medina. So order in the morning to let the cook doing shopping and enjoy the result in the evening. One may find the rooms a bit noisy as all faces to the inner court/lobby - so anybody talks/eats there, the other guests hears. But it is the same in all riads, and with 10 guests not a real problem. Enternaining the kids you may miss the TV, so be prepared with cards, board games and ipads. Transfer and daily excursions arranged by the riad are fair service for fair price.

United KingdomGreat location but still quiet. Beautifully decorated. Incredibly comfortable bed! WiFi was very strong throughout. The staff made this place! We arrived very early and were given tea and biscuits while we waited for our rooms, and set up on the WiFi. Fatimah and Zakariya arranged our Fes medina tour and a private taxi to Chefchaouen. We had early mornings but were given breakfast to go so we didn’t miss out!

OMG! By far the best Riad we have stayed at (and we traveled all over Morocco). We had the suite - it was specious, decorated gorgeously and the bed was to die for (we slept sooo good). Breakfast was amazing and different each day. An extra bonus - the spa was amazing and my wife said it was the most incredible haman experience she has had (w/Fatima).

United StatesWe sometimes heard people outside in the alley at night, but it was rare and not the property’s fault. And for a tall person, the shower had a protruding corner you could hit your head on when standing under the shower, and a curtain would help keep water from getting out.
Fatima and Karim were wonderful. Dinner was good, breakfast was good every day with different typical Moroccan breads. Fatima’s recommendations for restaurants were very good, and she helped us with the basics of navigating the Medina. One of the nicest rooms we stayed in in Morocco. Relatively quiet although close to the heart of the Medina. They were very accommodating as we needed to leave early one morning by providing breakfast to go.

United StatesOur room was quiet enough. It faced the street, and you hear everything in the street. Single pane glass! The street gets quiet at night and stayed quiet until about 8 in the morning on the weekend. Breakfast was pretty good, but the coffee was terrible. Tea was okay though. There were only two bath towels and no hand towels, which I thought was kind of cheap.
Modern, comfortable room with a great bed and quality linens. The bathroom was large with pretty tiles and a bathtub, but could use better lighting. It was relaxing to soak in the bathtub after walking through the rough medina. Our room was up a lot of steps and across from a very nice outdoor patio, with cactus and semi-comfortable lounge chairs (no headrest). The AC unit functioned well and helped create white noise. Dinner was delicious, but you have to reserve it in the morning. Staff was very nice. It's not too far from the medina exit, which is important.

United KingdomI don't know where to start. This riad is the most beautiful accommodation I've ever stayed in! Perfect location in the Medina. The room is huge, with a big comfy bed and splendid Moroccan decor. The windows overlook the fountain in the middle of the riad. Breakfast is delicious, prepared handmade every morning. Fatima and Zacaria are really friendly, helpful, and hospitable. I treated myself to an hour-long massage at their Spa, best decision ever! Unfortunately I don't remember the masseuse's name, but her hands are golden. Thank you all for taking care of us so well, and also for providing beers!
