On arrival we were welcomed with mint tea at the beautiful terrace which had lovely views. All staff are friendly and helpful. Location is great as it is near the main attractions and a short walk to the Blue gate. It is easy to find this lovely riad. Breakfast is plentiful and the room was spacious and comfortable.

If you have a room at the lower floor there is a window only facing the inside of the riad (which is the case in every riad).

Beautiful big room, great experience. Nice breakfast and very good location. We really loved the decoration and the terrace was perfect. We did a last minute booking and they managed to accommodate us very fast. Also they served early breakfast for us at the terrace when we had to leave for our dessert trip.

We arrived at the Raid only to have no staff at the desk. Waited 20 mins before a community member called for the receptionist who then came to do check in. Underground parking for 30 MAD/night was a 5 min walk which was nice. Room itself was clean and very spacious, just a tad chilly. Bed was comfortable & towels were extremely soft. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very kind, particularly Rabia who played with our baby each morning. Location of the Raid was great, walking distance from everything. Overall had more of a hostel vibe than a Raid. Would stay here again.

It was right at the entrance of the Medina, but not in the center, so not as overwhelming if you’re not used to it. The rooms were stunning, large, traditionally decorated, were a family of 5 and it easy fit us and all our bags. The terrace had an amazing view, sunrise and sunset are a must. The hospitality was excellent, loved the food, the Lamb Tajine was our favorite and the breakfast is so generous. They were great with our kids, would recommend to anyone visiting Fes.

There is no elevator. The stairwell was very steep, so carrying bags was a bit of a struggle. But again, Mariam was super helpful with this.

Very warm welcome from the owner. The place is absolutely beautiful! Much more impressive than in the photos. Large terrace with lots of possibilities for a place to relax. Our room was just perfect, fresh and comfortable. The cuisine at riad53 is impeccable, if you have the chance, have at least one meal at the Riad! Excellent, very varied breakfast. What more could you ask for!

We loved this riad! It is located in the middle of the medina close to restaurants and markeds, but still it is quiet. The interior is so beautiful and the staff very helpful. They even offered free shuttle to the airport. We would love to stay again!😍

This beautiful Riad was quite the find! It has amazing possession and is located by the road for easy pick up and drop off. Tahar, the manager, treated us like family and was very helpful with everything we needed. The Riad has 6 rooms designed in the traditional mosaic tiles and by the end of 2024, it would already have a swimming pool. We couldn't stop taking pictures of the courtyard with fountains, the inner dining room, the facade of windows, etc. We pre-booked a dinner for our arrival date and wow, it was plentiful and yummy! Tip: Riads and restaurants do not sell alcohol, but you're welcome to bring wine without corkage fee

The staff treated us like family! Ghita, khlafa & Tahar went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Ghita would check in everyday to ask what we wanted to do that day, make suggestions, and book tour guides for us. She even arranged for a picnic lunch for the day we drove up into the mountains. There was literally nothing that Tahar would not do for us, including personally walking us over to the market one day and sitting with us at the end of the each day on the roof top patio to share his knowledge and passion for Morocco. Ghita was always there with a smile as he poured our coffee and greeted us warmly when we returned each night. These individuals made our visit very special. The riad itself was so far beyond our expectations. When we first arrived, khalid came outside to help us deal with our taxi driver (he must have seen us on the security cameras) he smoothed things over and showed us the way to the Riad.We were served mint tea while ghita shared the history of the Riad and then shocked us by showing us to the Royal Suite. We couldn't have it for all three nights but she said that it was available for the one night and she thought we would enjoy it!! The room we moved to the next day was equally breathtaking. Why would you stay in a hotel when you can stay in a riad ?! Definitely the most unique place that we have ever had the privilege to stay at! The roof top patio was amazing. I can't describe the beauty and awe of hearing the call to pray as the sun is going down over the historic city of Fez. I should also mention that the food is made by the owner's MOM!! Definitely try some of Mama Fatima's Moroccan dishes; the food was beyond excellent! I would like to thank ghita , Tahar& khalid for your exceptional service but most importantly for your genuine friendship. We feel deeply grateful to have met you and to have stayed in such an amazing place!

We like everything

The Riad is fabulous and feels quite exclusive. Everything is clean and immaculate. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. . The staff were very friendlv. And helpful. We arrived late in the evening and they were so welcoming they even prepared dinner for us at Midnight. In the morning the owner was so kind and walked with us to the ATM so that we could draw cash.

The room was beautiful, really clean, comfortable, huge. It was such a pleasure to stay in a place like this. It has a terrace were you can grab a drink or eat. Amenities and bank atm are walking distance. The owner is great, he helps you in anything you need, he is sweet, approachable, helpful and easy going. Highly recommended
