The location was great but the best was the design of the hotel and the rooms. Really cool ! And the several terrasses upstairs offered a very nice view. The personnel was also super helpful

The shower didn't work in the upright position and the water coming out of glass into the nearest toilet if you don't shower yourself in the corner. One evening water not hot enough Wi-Fi cut for a evening and next morningq

Location, price, staff were just great!

The hotel was very clean, well-appointed and staffed with friendly, efficient people. The breakfasts were almost too much, and by the third day we were more selective and perhaps less greedy. It was so well-presented. Staff were very helpful in arranging external activities - hammam and quad bike rides. The pool on the roof is perfect for cooling down and then moving back to the deck chairs - in February!!

The Wi-Fi connectivity could be improved to match the overall excellence of the hotel. But the wifi was not terrible.

This hotel was an absolute delight, enchanting us with its beauty and impeccable service. Every aspect of our stay was wonderful, leaving us longing for a longer visit – a testament to its charm and comfort. Its central location was ideal, nestled amongst friendly street vendors who enhanced the local atmosphere. Each morning, we were treated to a fabulous breakfast, and the constant welcoming scent throughout the hotel added to its allure. The staff's warm hospitality made us feel truly at home. Our accommodation was splendid, with a spacious room and a luxurious shower that added to our comfort. The rooftop became our serene haven, perfect for basking in the sun and relaxing in tranquility. Our two-night stay flew by too quickly, leaving us with the desire to return and savour more of what this lovely hotel has to offer.

Wifi was very intermittent. One member of staff really should look for another type of employment. The air conditioning was pretty useless- not sure how comfortable the room would be in the extreme heat.

Well located and stylish with nice rooftop terrace and small plunge pool. Room was comfortable & clean and bathroom was spacious. The majority of the staff were excellent with the young man who collected us from our taxi (I’m sorry not to have taken his name) and who helped serve breakfast amongst other jobs, went above and beyond being helpful and charming- thank you! Breakfast was very good also.

Booking.com describing the rooms wrong!

The hotel is well positioned in the Medina, very central yet tucked down a quiet alley. The staff are exceptional. All English speaking and willing to assist with anything from making tea to printing boarding passes. The room we chose on Booking.com was described as having a terrace but on arrival it didn't. The staff showed us it was a Booking.com error in their description that the hotel had been trying to rectify for some time to no avail (poor booking.com admin!!). The staff then upgraded us to a suite with a terrace. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and would definitely return

A beautifully designed boutique hotel, modern and cool and perfectly located in the centre of the medina. Very comfortable bed, extremely clean bedroom and en-suite. Definitely 5* standard and comparable to European 5* accommodation. Lovely roof terrace with loungers, various seating areas and a very small plunge pool. From the friendly and professional welcome with mint tea and snacks, to the helpful advice on things to do/where to eat/the best hamams etc, the staff were amazing. Every member of staff was so kind and helpful and really make you feel at home. The breakfast is a highlight - a really comfortable breakfast area where the staff serve you with tray after tray of fruits and yoghurt, fresh orange juice, warm pancakes, chocolate croissants, cake, warm paratha, cheese and cucumber/tomatoes, and baguette with local jams and honey. The staff will also bring an omelette or eggs if you ask. Coffee or tea and water. Having stayed in other “5* hotels” in Essaouira, this is the first one that genuinely deserves the rating.

The location was a little difficult to find at first, but once we found it we liked how centrally located it was. The breakfast was very slow in being served...but once we it arrived, it was very tasty. The only thing we would recommend is reduce the amount of bread items that are served at breakfast.

Hisham, at the front desk was extremely helpful with everything ranging from restaurant recommendations & reservations, to sending out laundry, and arranging luggage transport on the day of departure. He is a strong addition to your team!

Nothing. The stairs kept me fit!

The location was amazing in the centre of the medina. Staff were so helpful and really friendly. The suite was so relaxing with beautiful lighting and a gorgeous shower room. Loved having breakfast on the outside rooftop terrace which was kindly brought up every morning. Great waiting staff. Tiny pool cooled you off and sun beds had complimentary towels, which was a perfect touch for relaxation after touring around.
