We went out of season so not everything was open / ready for use.

Beautiful location, welcoming hard-working staff, great food. Our room was huge and it had incredible views. We had a lovely relaxing stay.

Restaurant arrangements were a bit confusing (Perhaps being at the end of season was to blame, but....). staff weren't sure when & which eatery was open. Also the menu in the main restaurant was kind of out of sync with the rest of the experience. I just expected more from the restaurant. (Top tip for the kitchen, use more of the Moroccan herbs and spices.)

Despite the numerous positive aspects of our stay at Widian Hotel, we encountered a few issues that we hope can be addressed for a more perfect experience in the future. In our room (406), we faced technical difficulties with the TV remote control and the ‘Do Not Disturb’ and ‘Clean My Room’ options wasn’t working. The rooftop area, though promising, was marred by dirty furniture, which unfortunately dirtied our clothes with dust when we sat down. We were also somewhat disappointed during our visit to the spa, where only one staff member was available to manage the reception and offer massage services, meaning my wife and I couldn’t be serviced at the same time. Lastly, the revolving door at the hotel entrance required a push to operate each time as it was not functioning correctly.

We recently stayed at the Widian Hotel, which is surrounded by the peaceful Atlas Mountains and overlooks a stunning lake. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out, with gorgeous decor that caught our attention. Our room was clean and spacious, with a balcony. The balcony offered beautiful views of the lake and mountains. What distinguishes us most is the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, which makes our stay comfortable and unforgettable. In addition, the hotel offers a range of activities; We especially enjoyed the spa services and the unforgettable boat tour on the lake. In short, Hotel Widian promises a great experience with great amenities, friendly staff and stunning views, all at a good value. Highly recommended for a peaceful vacation.

The food in the main restaurant (french cuisine) is below standards and it is a pitty there are few Marrocan dishes. Furthermore some of the staff is clearly unexperienced mainly at breakfast, not clearing tables, walking around with n'othing in their hands. Also they favour locals in their service over Europeans sadly.

I love the spacy rooms, the views, the food and the service at the pool restaurant.

Unfortunately, our mothers had a very difficult time using any of the hotel facilities. The outdoor pools were too cold to swim in (not the hotel's fault). There was an indoor heated pool, but it was not actually heated. The staff said that they would turn the heater on, but they never did. Our moms then asked to reserve the "cinema" for a fun movie night. They arrived on time, but no staff were there to assist with the cinema. Then our mom's requested help with Netflix in their room, but no staff member arrived until over an hour later. My mom booked a relaxing massage but was given a tonic massage. They loved the physical hotel and the location, but had unsatisfactory service for every facility that they attempted to use.

I sent my mother and mother-in-law to stay at Widiane for 2 nights because I remember it as one of my favorite hotels in Morocco. My husband and I had previously travelled here during COVID. Previously, we had experienced a few issues with check in and the hotel, but we attributed those issues to COVID. Apparently, the issues had not been COVID related. However, the hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. The scenery is breathtaking and the hotel rooms have stunning views. We had a lakefront balcony view that was the best part of our stay!

1 - Pricier than average stay in Morocco 2 - on a 2nd day of our stay, wanted to visit indoor pool, but it was closed 2 hours earlier than previously announced (due to start of Ramadan). It wasn't obvious, and would have been good to know in advance

1 - view and the nature around was outstanding 2 - very comfortable and spacious room 3 - high class service across the hotel: good restaurants, got help with laundry service, was easy to book extra night on the spot 4 - close to the Ouzound waterfalls (was a reason for a stop here)

- A/C was not working in the first room - No water in the small balcony that was visible in the pictures on booking and made that « glass effect / mirror effect), so a little disappointment here - Smoking / cigarette smell in the corridor of our floor

Staff very helpful when AC was not working properly - they offered us another room very quickly. The chef restaurant and all the staff / drivers at the entry were very kind and made us feel very welcomed, much appreciated.
