No mosquito net provided and there were a few that had got into the room, spray was provided though. The room size is a little small but sufficient for what we needed.

Beautiful hotel on a hill overlooking Tana. The terraces are brilliant for enjoying the sunset and the restaurant food was very good. The bathroom was good and the room was clean.

The streets leading to the hotel can be very overwhelming especially with the little children begging in the streets.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I wasn’t searching for a luxury, I needed a base point during my tour of the country and this served the purpose of placing my head and luggage for the night. They were able to secure my bags when I was away and the staff helped with a host of other things.

The bug screens weren't quite what I'd hoped for, but I did all right. I didn't get bit bitten much at all. As a single female who did not blend at all, there was no way I was comfortable leaving the property alone. I suspect this is true in much of Tana.

Overall, the food was quite good. I stayed in this hotel at the beginning and end of my trip. The second time I was there, I was quite ill. Once the staff understood my needs they were very helpful and accommodating.

The city noise echoes through the night as walls and windows are very thin. Also, no soundproofing from neighbours.

The patio space was a welcome respite from the busy city outside. The staff were all very professional. The airport transfers ran smoothly. The food was really good. The rooms were clean.

Restaurant staff were lovely, and the little crisp, garlicy bread squares provided as a starter were delicious, however range of options is a little limited, the main dishes I had were ok but nothing particularly outstanding, and coffee with breakfast was luke warm, at best. There are some very good alternatives nearby.

It’s in a poorer part of the city with a lot of beggars on the street and some shady nightlife nearby.

Very well run and stylish older hotel with terrace, bar and restaurant in a good location central to most of Tana.

It was a little noisy.

Uncomfortable pillows. Hotel restaurant was mediocre - breakfast was poor. The hotel location itself was further in from the main street, which makes it seem sketchy but quaint.

Locally-owned. Clean and decent sized room. Decent wifi. Friendly and accommodating staff. Location and design of the hotel. The terrace was lovely and offered a great view of the city. Walkable to main sights and restaurants, supermarket, jewelry street, and public market.

Having a few non pasta vegetarian meals would have been nicer if staying for an extended period, but even so the food I did have was really nice.

The rooms were really comfortable and sitting out on the patio with gecko's over looking the city was a really nice way to spend time.

it’s a bit of a walk to get from the street to the door but safe

open air, well decorated with fossils and carvings and plants, picturesque hotel with 2 open patios in the upper level and enclosed restaurant. Staff was incredibly helpful (arranged a driver for round trip to Lemur Park, over an hour each way) and very attentive. Top floor rooms are probably the best: duplex with staircase and skylight

Hotel is very cute. Close to the centre. They have restaurant on site. Rooms are pretty decent size and washroom is nice. Lots of towels. Staffs are nice. They have terrace and city view is very beautiful. You can see the sunset.

Room next to the stairs was v loud with people leaving early. Would be helpful if they took cards
