The location was great, market and bakery was next door. The apartment itself was also good, but the walls were very thin, so you could hear everything (but we were prepared, given that it was a hostel). The owner was very helpful, we had some requests and problems and he was always available.

The owner Goran is wonderful. He arranged for pick up from airport (additional charge) but it's much lesser than regular taxi. He also helped us get early check in and drove us to the apartment. The apartment is as pictured just a little distance from the city centre. Goran was very helpful and kind. Will definitely recommend the place. It's big, clean and spacious.

Sharing a single bathroom between 4-5 rooms could be a bit tricky in the mornings. Also it would be nice to have complimentary toiletries like shampoo and body wash.

Excellent location, about 10 minutes walk away from Macedonia Square and the Old City. Comfortable bed and very clean clean facilities. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There's a functioning kitchenette with complimentary tea and coffee.

The shared kitchen was ok but limited. The room was a bit noisy, thsre was a party going on in the street a few blocks away. The bathroom was ok-ish.

It was relatively close to the city center and really close to a lot of nice bars and restaurants. The bed was good. The staff was friendly.

However, the room fell short of our expectations. It was located beside a busy main street, resulting in significant noise throughout the day and night. The window was quite small, which made airing out the room difficult. Furthermore, the staff did not speak English, making communication a bit challenging at times.

I recently stayed at Hostel 42 in Skopje and had a mixed experience. The location of the hostel is fantastic, situated conveniently near major attractions and amenities. Additionally, the owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating, allowing us to check in early, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, while the location and the owner's assistance were commendable, the room conditions and communication barriers were areas that could use improvement.

I saw spider webs in bathroom.

Owner of the place is Goran, he is very kind and helpful person. Design of the garden is amazing. When we were sitting with my friend, other people came and started chatting. It was fun.

The outside light shone through the blinds and the noise from the main road.

Apartment is close to the city center, 10 minutes of walking. Sanja and Goran are very polite and helpful hosts. There are a shared bathroom and kitchen. Room was clean, there is a shared terrace in the yard. Worth of money, recommendation.

Skopje town: ugly megalomanic buildings, overkill of statues from 'heroes' (that nobody seems to know: I asked several times), admits durty streets with abandoned dogs... Amazing how its people can keep being so nice and friendly (though, they too complain about their crazy city organisation).

I didn't realize people could smoke in the indoor area outside the rooms. It drifted everywhere, unfortunately.

Staff is amazing! Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The reception patio is very cute with sparkle lights and plants under the trees. The location is walking distance to nearly everything you would want to see, and the ride to the airport had a great car plus super efficient driver.

The actual apartment is in a different location than the hostel itself - about 30 minutes walk from the main square. I would say it is still within walkable distance.

The apartment we stayed in was good value for money and there was a mini supermarket near the property. The lady also gave us tea and coffee and we had a nice chat.
