Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CanadaHotel was outdated. Internet access and air conditioning was inconsistent in every room. Breakfasts were good, but limited. I stayed in three different rooms and they were inconsistent with regards to cleanliness. One stunk of smoke, the rug was stained, had not air conditioning and poor internet service. One was very clean, and both air conditioning and internet were great. The third room was somewhere in between. The only great thing was the location.

United States1) We always book and pay through booking.com, however, the Springs Hotel staff ask us to pay to them directly. Apparently some staff do not have knowledge of booking.com (we say we already pay through booking.com, they say they don't know what booking.com is and they don't have any information of our "payment") or do that on purpose!! They are so "demanding", one time we really thought we should pay until we realize "wait a minute, if the Springs hotel staff didn't have any payment or knowledge about Booking.com then how do they have our reservation that we book through booking.com?" We are glad that we didn't pay them double, otherwise it would have been a quite a chase to get our money back. Every staff ask for "money" for something different every time we stay there. Unfortunately, their location is close to where we need to be. This is why we choose this hotel every time we go to Ulaanbaatar. 2) The hot water and shower is the worst! The hot water goes through some ridiculous cycle. It stops every minute or so and then starts with cold water then warms up and then the water stops! Good luck with telling that to the staff or manager, it is no use because this is how it is built and they will tell you so! 3) Terrible breakfast! 4) Wake up call: we asked the staff to give us wake up call at 6am, and the call didn't happen. Luckily, other friends called us after 6am. We dressed up and went downstairs for breakfast, the hotel front desk staff was sitting there and having her breakfast! We told her we didn't get a our wake up call and she goes "Oh right, I forgot" then continues with her breakfast?! 5) The elevators don't work well. We only found out about it of course, on the day of check out. Our flight is at 6:40am. We checked out around 3am and the elevator took 20 minutes. It kept stopping different floors but didn't go to lobby.
Location maybe good but only to us for what we do at that time. Everything else is wrong with this hotel!

United StatesWe arranged the hotel to pick us up at the airport and provided them with flight information, arrival time, etc. When we cleared the custom and came out around 5am and the driver was not there! We called the hotel numerous times, first several times no answer and then finally someone picked up, sounded very sleepy, gave us driver's number and told us to call him directly. Same thing happened when calling a driver, he seemed he had forgotten that he had airport pick up. He said he will be there in 20 minutes but arrived 42 minutes after. Between these hotel mess, other taxi drivers constantly tried to get us into their car, some of them were very aggressive, they started taking our luggages and we had to chase them to get our bags back. We've heard need to cautious with the random drivers, this is why we paid hotel to pick us up and the hotel had us to wait extra time at the airport and didn't take off their $50 airport pick up fee for causing such inconvenience! During our stay, the hotel night shift staff are always sleeping, takes forever to answer the phone, we asked the staff for a wake up call, didn't happen, water turns off during shower (it literally stops running, staff said because of the higher floor, so we had to wait with all the sud until water catches up and comes back in), TV always shows "no signal" message, everytime had to call hotel staff to get it fixed so eventually gave up on TV.
The breakfast is included in the price but you'd have better chance having breakfast elsewhere as their "free" breakfast is not great, raw vegetable omelette, uneven temperature scrambled egg (cold and hot, like if it was mixed up cooked eggs that had been sitting there for a while and maybe they mix with freshly cooked eggs, or maybe microwaved because the warm eggs were dried)!!!!

While we already entered how many guests were staying, the hotel staff repeatedly asked how many guests were staying (it doesn't seem like the hotel staffs look through the reservation that come through booking.com because they kept asking questions that were in the reservation, in the end I had to show them my reservation from my phone and the other information that are already there!) 2. The hotel receptionist kept asking how will I pay while the payment already went through the booking.com and I was repeatedly telling her the payment is went through even had to call the supervisor to confirm that we already paid. 3. They even took a deposit that wasn't advertised about this hotel on booking.com. 4. The breakfast was horrendous!!!! The staff kept arguing the receptionist wrote as "our room has only 1 guest instead of 2" and it is not a buffet style, the guests need to write down their order. They whip up something behind the closed door, one time our plates arrived with butter that looked like came from another plates (a little stick of butter and some other color of butter or margarine that looked like already being scraped off from another toast because there bread crumbs on it!!!!), raw vegetables omelettes, scrambled eggs also seemed to mixed up from another plates (hot and cold together and some of them dried already!!!!), no consistency of how they serve the bacon and sausage. So we started mixing up our food like left over sausages, bacon and eggs cut them up into small pieces and mixed up with yogurt and fruit juices since we suspected the kitchen staff were "recycling" other guests left over foods therefore, they can't use our left overs to the others guests plates.
The only thing we liked was the location.

SingaporeCommunication between the different shifts of front desk staff could have been better - a request the day before to book a taxi to the airport for the next day was often not handed over to the new front desk staff the next morning.
Breakfast was delicious - you had your choice of eggs, side dishes, tea, coffee. I always stay at this hotel when I come to UB - the location is unbeatable. It is very central, a few minutes from Sukhbaatar Square, the Central Post Office and within a ten min walk to the State Dept Store.

Czech Republicthe hotel is just terrible. 1. we booked a room via booking and the room for another day was booked by our company in advance. the hotel insisted that the company booked just a single room while our voucher shows that the room should come for two. finally I paid an additional charge and asked a paper confirmation about it… four hours later the hotel returned money (I hope they did since I have not yet received money on my account) 2. we were going to order a transfer to the airport. the guest book shows that it costs 23 usd + 10 every additional person. the lady at the reception told it costs 48 usd for two of us…. the explanation was “we have not adjusted prices after the Covid there were many other small points but I think these two are enough! it reveals that the hotel rather want to cheat its clients or does not care about punctuality, which is unacceptable! I do not recommend this hotel
