The receptionist was very kind and helpful, check in process was fast, the room is big, with AC, very well maintained. Our room has a nice view to the Fort. Location is perfect, we rented a car from the airport and the bus stop was 100 metres from the hotel. Area full of restaurants

We loved the rooms, and the names appointed to them as designations, rather than numbers. It was a nice, original idea! The location was perfect, right in the center of the town and within easy access of the things that interested us most. The bathroom was very modern and roomy.

1) The first night I got up and use the bathroom and I saw a big cockroach. She didn’t run when the light was turn on so I step on it. The second day in the afternoon. I came back from a walk and didn’t see a cockroach. After using the bathroom, a medium size cockroach was found belly up. The 3rd afternoon, in the sink, I saw 2 antennas pocking around and found a small very much alive cockroach. A worker gave me a big can of cockroach killer and I sprayed in front and behind the main door but that didn’t stop them from coming in. I was so concern that I threw out my garbage in the garbage can in the lobby. I was very vigilant in keeping the room without a single crumb or food source to entice cockroaches. 2) I really prefer a place with 24 hours reception. Even though there is an emergency number to call, but still it is an extra step and I don’t have voice calling plan. In fact, my data eSIM didn’t work at all. I like the security of having an extra person there. While I was there I didn’t hear any noise and felt like I was the only one there. 3) The emergency exit is confusing. It is not next to the elevator. A gentleman said the cockroach came from the staircase in front of my room Panama . I don’t think I want to go through a stair well with cockroaches. 4) The WiFi was really a pain in the you know what. I don’t know how many times I had to enter the passport and sometimes the WiFi just cut off without reason. I was tired of having to enter and re-enter password if I stop using it for a few hours. Every time I came back to the room from my excursion, I had to re-enter the password. 5) The lack of a door in the shower makes a wet floor in front of the toilet. 6) I was there during week days. Every night starting at 8 pm until well past midnight , I could hear a band with 2 or more instruments. It was annoying.

1) The staff was welcoming. I was fortunate that someone was there to open the door. Apparently there was no 24 hour reception and I didn’t know that. Olivier was very helpful in every respect and spoke English well. 2) The location is 10 minutes walk to the ferry port and the bus terminal. The room has view of the sea and across from the park. 3) There are a few restaurants around it but most of them closed by 5 pm. Maybe I can find at most 20 % of the restaurants and they don’t open until 7 pm. 4) Free coffee , tea are included with a mini-fridge. 5) I met the couple who cleaned my room. They did an excellent job .

Maybe add some decorative elements to the walls for room to feel slightly warmer and add a little character, maybe pictures or something related to the city after which room is named.

Our stay at this hotel presented a few significant setbacks that impacted our overall experience. Firstly, we encountered an issue with the Wi-Fi, which proved to be quite inconvenient for staying connected. However, the most substantial issue arose when we discovered that the hotel did not have any hot water throughout our stay. Unfortunately, this lack of hot water was not communicated to us prior or during check-in, and we only found out about it once we went to have a shower. This information would have been critical for us to know in advance, especially since we had a baby with us. Regrettably, the hotel did not offer any reimbursement or compensation for these issues. Another noteworthy aspect is the hotel’s limited service hours. They do not provide 24/7 assistance, which means that if you encounter any problems or require assistance, you may need to wait until the following day for someone to address your concerns. In summary, our overall experience could have been exceptional if not for the significant issues we faced with the hot water and Wi-Fi. Improved communication regarding these issues and a more responsive approach to guest concerns would greatly enhance the quality of the stay at this hotel.

The gentleman who handled our check-in was friendly and accommodating. Additionally, the rooms themselves were well-equipped.
